At first, Khai considered Vu as a role model to follow, always trying and thinking how to write a great song like "First Minute".

Khai said: "I think this is not bad, because stepping on a road without knowing where you will have to go, having a model is understandable. But the more you walk, the more experiences and challenges you have met. As for the perception that I am the version of Mr. Vu, even though it was in the past, I am sure it will be a long time before I can get there, and now it is even more remote."

Released the new MV "Don't wait anymore", this time Khai's music still retains its inherent charm and characteristics. Without noise and too much sound, the song is an expression of the lonely waiting of a one-sided love heart.

For Khai, this is a product that has invested a lot of time in being able to bring the completeness of both the audio and the visual parts. There may not be anything new, but it will be a milestone for Khai to do more interesting things.

That interesting thing was also revealed by Khai, which is the mini-album called "Please wait". The 1999 vocalist has cherished this big project since his high school days. This product includes 5 songs that Khai wrote in 3 years, from 2018 to 2021.

The content of the songs are all about the sadness of ending in a love story, but from Khai's perspective and experience. All of these are stories and true feelings that he has experienced. And this year, when everything is ready, Khai will send everyone the mini album "Please wait" with the message: "Sadness doesn't last forever and when you get over sadness, you are ready for a new love. love completely."

After popular songs such as "Just want to say", "168 (hours)", "Lonely in the city", Khai is compared to "a guy who sings lullabies", "vocalist" of loneliness'. He happily said, "I feel happy and grateful that my music also more or less 'touches' people's emotions.

It is also right to be called by the audience with such names, because when I have insomnia, I often listen to my music to make it easier to fall asleep. And it really worked for me and a few others. Maybe it's because the songs I write are a bit slow and gentle, or because my voice sounds quite lulling."

Khai's music is always full of worries, because he sends all the thoughts that he doesn't know how to share. So when he started writing music, Khai loved it so much, because it was not only a tool to express his thoughts, but now his concerns were heard and sympathized with by many others. And in life, there are not only sad stories about love and many other things, he will continue to learn how to say it and send it to his friends and audience.

Regarding the inspiration for composing, Khai said: "Most of it comes from love, because maybe I'm young, so I want to love a lot, completely. Love is something we can see everywhere and almost everywhere. Like everyone will feel it or have experienced it. In addition, I am also learning how to let myself experience more so that there are many perspectives and stories in music."

During the release of the song "Don't wait anymore", Khai also revealed that until 2020 he can really make money from music. Although he could not support his family yet, he began to invest more in both hearing and visual aspects of music. From the MV "No more waiting, Khai hopes to have the opportunity to 'step into the light', although there are still many shortcomings due to financial difficulties and cannot meet the idea.

But this Gen Z vocalist tries to make the best product possible. 'Take the short to feed the long', from the profit of this song Khai continues to use it all to produce the next project. So Khai thinks that the cost is not so important when making a product but how you will do it.

After "No more waiting" this year, Khai will complete the last song in the mini-album "Please wait" secretly named "MVCD", which is expected to be released at the end of the year.
