Gallup Korea has just announced a list of the most popular artists in Korea in 2023. This is the result from the survey "2023 Shining Artists" conducted from July to November.
The survey collected opinions from 5,262 participants, aged 13 and older nationwide (except Jeju Island). The margin of error for the survey is 2 points for the 13 to 39 age group and 1.9 points for the 40 and older group, with a 95% confidence level.
In the 13 to 39 age group, NewJeans took first place with 27% of the votes. NewJeans is a new group that debuted in July 2022 and has quickly become a phenomenon with incredible growth. This rapid growth is demonstrated by the group climbing from No. 4 in the 2022 Gallup Korea poll to No. 1 this year, attracting the highest number of votes among the 13 to 39 age group. In the group aged 40 and over, Lim Young Woong continued to hold the top position for the fourth consecutive year.
