Kpop is getting hotter than ever at the end of the year as a series of artists are making comebacks, promising to compete fiercely on the music charts. The big names include Rosé, G-Dragon, BabyMonster,...
Girl group BabyMonsters will officially have their first world tour in 2025. Accordingly, the group's schedule will start in Seoul, Korea in January, New Jersey in February, and Los Angeles, USA in March.
According to YG Entertainment on November 20, Korean time, Baby Monster will hold the concert "2025 Baby Monster 1st World Tour Hello Monsters In Seoul" on January 25 and 26, 2025, Korean time at Olympic Park KSPO Dome in Bangi-dong, Seoul.
This event marked a historic milestone as Baby Monster held a concert at the KSPO Dome less than a year after their debut. Korean media commented that "it is rare for a rookie girl group to hold their first concert at such a large venue".
Notably, this event serves as the starting point for Baby Monster's expansion to global markets, sparking enthusiasm from fans around the world. In particular, the world tour will introduce songs from the group's debut album "Drip" and promises to bring an exciting experience to the audience.
Rosé released a 12-song tracklist for the album "Rosie". Specifically, late at night on October 1 (Vietnam time), Kpop idol Rosé of Blackpink announced that she will release a new album called "Rosie" on December 6, 2024. This is the first full-length album in Rosé's career, including 12 songs. Up to now, Rosé is the first member of Blackpink to announce the release of a full album.
In her latest Instagram post, Rosé shared: "I can't believe I can finally announce to you all about the release of my first album.
I remember last year, when our year-long tour ended, I found myself here in Los Angeles. Which led to a year of being in and out of the studio, writing songs with musicians and producers I was meeting for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career.
I've fallen asleep many nights feeling confused and lost. But with the support of my dear friends and family, my team, and of course my "1s" (fans), I sit here today excited to announce the album release date.
I put my blood, sweat and tears into this album. I can't wait for you to hear my little diary. Rosie - that's what my friends and family call me. With this album, I hope you all will feel a little closer to me. And yes, it is a full album. December 6th."
As for G-Dragon, he just returned with the song "Home Sweet Home", released as a solo product, but the combination with Taeyang and Daesung makes it a similar product of the group Big Bang (Big Bang currently has 3 members).
"Home Sweet Home" has a lively melody, reminiscent of Big Bang's past hits. Through this song, the members also affirm that they are still here, never leaving. On the Melon platform, the keywords "G-Dragon", "Big Bang", "Rosé" dominate the top search trends.
The two songs' debut achievements in the first hour are different. "Home Sweet Home" ranked 2nd on Bugs, 3rd on Melon, and 3rd on Genie. "Number One Girl" ranked 5th on Bugs, 17th on Genie, and 43rd on Melon.
This is not an unusual achievement, because in the Korean market, Big Bang in general and G-Dragon in particular are names that are always loved by the public. The group's songs always cause a fever in the country as soon as they are released.
