After that, Phuong participated in a small "miss" contest at work. The knack of fake girls, wanting the contest to be more unique, Fang boldly went to the contest, winning the runner-up prize. The nickname "Miss Phuong Phuong" has been associated with him ever since. Gradually, Phuong realizes that he is attracted to people of the same sex and tries to find out about him.

In October 2015, Phuong fake girl participated in the big comedy contest on television, winning a prize of 20 million VND. The name Tran Vu Phuong became more famous in the community. "Phuong wants to become a voice in the family, influential in society, especially the LGBT community. In addition, Phuong also wants to be financially independent, raise herself so that her family can feel secure. At that time, it didn't matter who I was," Fang confessed.

Phuong said that LGBT life is still unfamiliar to the community in general, so doing anything is easier to notice than usual. When they fall in love, they are also judged whether it is sincere love, and the family is always worried about the child falling into evils and not having a caregiver in old age. Therefore, Fang chose to "follow nature".

Every day, Phuong still has short hair and jeans to work, whenever needed, she can still change her appearance to be convenient for work.

What is different, but also fortunate, is that Phuong's childhood was not too preoccupied with stigma. "Maybe it's because I didn't recognize myself as a child, so I chose to ignore my ears to live. But if I knew, Fang would have behaved the same way," Fang laughed.

She plans to adopt a child when she can afford it, fearing that her child will be stigmatized or hurt. Since coming out, Phuong's life has become more open and interesting, especially her daily makeup job. Phuong said, this job requires meticulousness and care for each operation. "When I'm a makeup artist, I'm more perfectionist, I'm more empathetic, my emotions are a lot higher." Fang said.

In July 2020, Phuong participated in the Miss Beauty Queen contest and received two more sub-awards, Talented Beauty and Inspirational Beauty. This is a big competition for the LGBT community, attracting hundreds of contestants each year. On the day of her coronation, Phuong was lucky to have her family come to see and support.

Phuong used to have plastic surgery on her face, padded her chin to make her face more beautiful, but did not intend to be transgender, but only wanted to be a girl at some point. "Someone called Ms. Phuong, who called Mr. Fang but I didn't care much. As long as they respect these differences, it doesn't matter how they address them," Phuong said.

In recent years, Phuong Phuong has also attracted attention when appearing in a series of short comedy series of the Cui Corn team.
