On the afternoon of August 6, a representative of Thu Duc Regional General Hospital (HCMC) confirmed to PV Dan Tri, this place is receiving active treatment for 2 victims of alcohol poisoning that occurred in Phuoc ward. Long B, Thu Duc City on August 5.

The victims were NVT (SN 2003) and LTNH (SN 2002), respectively, and were hospitalized on the afternoon of August 5 in a state of shortness of breath and lethargy. After examining and conducting toxicology tests, 2 patients were determined to have severe methanol poisoning.

The doctors conducted intubation, mechanical ventilation and dialysis for the patient. By noon on August 6, the two patients had been contacted, but still had to be monitored and actively treated at the intensive care unit - anti-poison.

Doctor Tran Thanh Sang, Deputy Director of Le Van Viet Hospital (Thu Duc City) said that earlier on the afternoon of August 5, this place also received 4 cases of severe alcohol poisoning after a drinking party.
