Jennie casually went to the Blackpink Concert rehearsal, her tiny waist caused a fever

Recently, YG Entertainment suddenly posted a video updating the schedule of artists, including two young groups Baby Monster and Treasure .
However, the most notable thing was the sharing near the end of the video, when executive producer Yang Hyun Suk suddenly revealed information related to the comeback project of Blackpink - the girl group considered the "trump card" of the company.
According to Yang Hyun Suk, Blackpink will release a mini album in the second half of 2025. He said that the product is not yet complete, the group and the production team are rushing to complete the final stages while Blackpink is still busy with the global tour. "We hope to release the album by November this year at the latest," said Yang Hyun Suk.
In addition, he also updated Baby Monster's progress: "We have completed about 80-90% of the recording of the group's new songs for next year. YG will make sure to meet the audience regularly without any delays."
The news that Blackpink is coming back with a mini album immediately sparked controversy. This is their comeback after three years since the full album Born Pink (2022), so fans expected the group to have a full album with about 12-13 songs, similar to the scale of solo albums of members Jennie, Lisa or Rosé. However, with only releasing a mini album, many fans are worried that the number of songs will only stop at 3-6 songs, not commensurate with the group's stature.
Not only that, the album release time is also slower than expected. Korean media previously predicted that Blackpink could release a new product before the Deadline global tour in July. But in the end, the group only released a single "Jump". This disappointed many fans, because usually Kpop artists will organize a world tour after releasing a new album so that the audience has the opportunity to enjoy the newly released songs live.
An example is G-Dragon (Big Bang) - this male artist is organizing a tour after releasing a solo album of the same name at the beginning of the year. During the shows, the audience gets to see G-Dragon perform a series of new songs live, combined with old hits, creating an attractive balance. Meanwhile, in Blackpink's Deadline tour, "Jump" is the only new song, the rest are mostly familiar hits such as "Kill This Love", "Pink Venom", "How You Like That", "Playing With Fire", "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du"...
This is what makes many audiences think that the money spent on tickets to Blackpink's concert is not really worth it, especially when they expect to experience new performances instead of listening to old songs. On online forums, many frank comments say that Blackpink deserves a more epic album, instead of just stopping at a mini album after three years of waiting.
Not stopping there, YG also encountered another controversy related to Baby Monster. The company is said to be favoring this rookie group by actively building many new projects. Typically, the announcement of the reality show "Baemon House", inspired by the previous hit show "Blackpink House". According to the plan, this show will air in September, before Baby Monster's comeback with the second mini album. Many fans believe that YG is placing a lot of expectations on Baby Monster, considering the group as the "successor" to Blackpink in the future.
However, surprisingly, after a short time, YG decided to "turn around", suspending all activities of Baby Monster, including stopping the reality show and postponing the album release date. This move raised many questions: is YG worried about the competition between its two girl groups, or is it simply a strategy to adjust to focus resources on Blackpink?
The Kpop fan community is currently divided into many opinions. Some believe that YG is too biased towards Baby Monster, constantly promoting and then suddenly postponing the plan, disappointing fans. Others believe that YG needs to prioritize Blackpink - a group that has affirmed its global position and brought in huge revenue, so temporarily suspending Baby Monster's activities is inevitable.
Either way, YG's lack of clarity in strategy puts both Blackpink and Baby Monster in a difficult position. Blackpink is considered to not have been properly invested in their comeback after many years of waiting, while Baby Monster constantly changes plans, easily losing points in the eyes of the audience.
Blackpink is "used by pagodas", Kpop is oversold because there are too many "Jennie clones"
Hoàng Phúc15:29:55 06/08/2025A 40-second clip from the production team of the popular K-Pop animated film Demon Hunters is causing the Korean online community to explode with outrage for taking advantage of Blackpink.
