After learning from an acquaintance in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Dat returned to Nam Dinh to open a banana cake sale at the end of 2021. His wheelie sells from 13h to 19h, with fried bananas, sweet potato cakes and coconut chips, priced at 10,000 VND/piece.

According to Mr. Dat, in order to fry banana cakes deliciously, the type of banana chosen is western banana (also known as banana goong), moderately ripe. Before frying, the bananas are thinly pressed by about 20cm, then dipped in flour and fried on a pan of oil, so that the crust is crispy, evenly cooked, soft inside, and retains the aroma of bananas.

On average, Mr. Dat's banana cake truck makes nearly 200 banana cakes every day. But since the image of player Xuan Son buying cakes has been shared a lot, Mr. Dat has to make 50 more banana cakes every day to sell.

Besides praising the gourmetness of Xuan Son as well as his family, many netizens also joked that maybe from now on they will not need to buy banana cakes like this anymore. Ms. Huyen said that her kitchen changes the menu by the day. Depending on the season, the dishes are also served differently. Because of their love for Vietnamese cuisine, for 1 year now, player Xuan Son and his wife have often ordered food from her kitchen.

The 40-year-old woman said that Xuan Son likes dishes such as vermicelli, braised fish with pork belly, pancakes. And his wife - Marcele Seippel is especially fond of beef cakes and cassava tea. "I mainly sell cassava tea in winter and since the beginning of the season, Son and his wife have bought this dish several times to enjoy," Ms. Huyen said.

Even, because he was impressed by the taste of cassava tea, the 27-year-old male player also took a photo, sent feedback to Ms. Huyen and praised this dish for being very delicious.
