According to TMZ, during a performance in San Diego on the night of December 12, Will Smith told the audience he had seen the memes people made about him and Diddy. "Some of the stuff is ridiculous.
I've never spoken out about these things but I want to be clear: I have nothing to do with Puffy (Diddy), so you can block that meme and bullshit," Will said.
The Aladdin actor said he had never attended a "freak off" - the parties Diddy has thrown over the years, which prosecutors have described as horrifying. "I don't even like baby oil," Smith said, referring to the more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil found at Diddy's mansion when federal police raided it in March. Will - who caused a stir and was criticized for slapping a co-star at the 2022 Oscars - also shared that he has done enough shit, so "don't drag me into other people's shit."
Diddy (real name Sean Combs) is currently in custody in Brooklyn, New York, after being arrested in September on charges of trafficking in pornography, extortion and soliciting pornography. Prosecutors described Diddy in the indictment as a cunning predator who turned his "multi-industry business empire" into a "criminal enterprise." The Bad Boy Records boss is accused of hosting explicit parties, seducing and forcing guests to attend, and secretly filming them. Diddy has also been sued by multiple people for harassment, but the rapper denies all allegations. Diddy's trial is scheduled for May 2025.
A recent lawsuit against Diddy has some interesting content. "I screamed, told him to stop. At that moment, I was in extreme pain," a man (who asked to remain anonymous) expressed in an interview with CNN, on December 11 (local time). The face was covered and the voice of this person was also edited differently.
The man claims the rapper committed "horrific acts" at a white supremacist party in the Hamptons in 2007. "I was so drunk I couldn't stand and he acted like nothing happened. The abuse was unbelievable," the man said in the filing.
The anonymous plaintiff claims Diddy sexually assaulted him inside an SUV in front of a âhigh-profile person.â The person did not identify the person, but his interview comes just days after Jay-Z was accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMAs after-party.
However, according to Page Six, the details the man gave contradicted what was stated in the original complaint. The lawsuit, filed in October, stated that the abuse occurred in 2006.
Tony Buzbee, the man's attorney, explained that the victim had amended the lawsuit after CNN reported the errors. However, Diddy's legal team said that Buzbee - who is representing more than 120 people against the rapper at this time - is showing his dishonest nature.
"Tony was exposed this week for pressuring clients to file bogus lawsuits against Mr. Combs, and after public records showed that the details were contrary to the original allegations, Tony amended the complaint. Now he claims a different date and a different year. How ridiculous," Diddy's attorney told Page Six.
Diddy's fortune has been a major public concern since the 1990s, when his hip hop and R&B record label Bad Boy Entertainment became hugely successful. The rapper has signed and produced music with names such as TLC, Mariah Carey, Usher, Lil' Kim and Boyz II Men, according to The New York Times.
Diddy has won three Grammys and has had a profound impact on the music world. Over the years, Diddy has amassed a significant fortune, especially through his alcohol business. According to Forbes, his net worth is estimated to be around $1 billion in 2022.
