NTX was admitted to the hospital in a state of vomiting, abdominal pain, loose stools, weakness in the lower extremities in a state of consciousness, good contact, slight eyelid drooping, muscle strength in upper 2 limbs 5/5, muscle strength in 2 lower extremities. 3/5. Child X. was diagnosed and monitored for botulinum toxin poisoning from food. She was given oxygen, intravenous fluids, and 1/2 vial of BAT antitoxin serum.
"Currently, the hospital receives 3 bottles of BAT antidote, but whether to continue using the drug for patients or not must wait for professional advice," said Dr. Phu.
