Mr. Q also "put a price" on the cost of treatment for MQ's child at 200 million VND/month. After bringing MQ to Lam Dong, his family transferred to Mr. Q a total amount of 600 million VND, along with a power of attorney to raise MQ to Mr. Q in March 2022.

Nearly a month after taking his son in to send him to Mr. Q for treatment, Mr. N. received a phone call from Mr. Q saying that he would like to meet his family in Hue city directly. When they met, Mr. Q informed his family that MQ's nephew had died due to COVID-19.

Mr. Q also said that because he was afraid that the process of transferring his body from Lam Dong to Hue City would decompose, he arbitrarily used firewood to burn MQ's body and then took the ashes to Hue for his family to take care of the aftermath. . Mr. Q also asked to bear the funeral expenses and asked to return to the family the amount of 600 million VND received earlier.
