Through their official Weverse, the company revealed that J-Hope is practicing isolation at home while being treated for COVID.
It is known that J-Hope had a sore throat and went to the hospital for a PCR test yesterday. On Thursday morning, the male idol received a positive result. The company has informed ARMYs with peace of mind that J-Hope has completed his third dose of vaccinations and is currently symptom-free.
Sharing details about the next schedule, the company confirmed that J-Hope will only participate in activities when he has recovered from his illness. Big Hit Music added, "J-Hope is planning to participate in activities scheduled to take place next month after his home treatment is over."
The male rapper was infected just a few days after BTS' eldest brother Jin was taken to the hospital for minor surgery. According to an announcement published on Weverse, Jin recently injured his finger and was taken to the medical emergency room on Friday, March 18.
The BTS member injured a part of the tendon in his finger during daily activities. When advised by doctors, he underwent surgery to repair the stretching tendon in his left finger.
The official statement also confirmed that the surgery went well. Jin was discharged from the hospital on Saturday and was advised by doctors to rest completely. In addition, the male idol was also required to wear a cast until the wound was healed.
Before Jin, another BTS member, Jimin, also had to undergo urgent appendectomy. At the same time, Jimin also had to be treated for COVID-19.
BTS' eldest brother was infected with COVID-19 on December 25 of last year after performing a tour and short vacation in the US. Previously, BTS also confirmed that the next 2 members infected with COVID-19 are Jimin and V. Both have now fully recovered and are in the process of practicing and preparing for the group's upcoming projects.
Currently, the epidemic situation in Korea is complicated, the number of infections per day is up to more than 170,000 cases. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles on March 22 (US time), BTS won the "Best Music Video" award for the song "Butter" and "Best Fan Community". for ARMYs. The group was also nominated for Best Duo/Group of the year, but the win went to Silk Sonic.
This is the third year in a row that BTS has won the best music video category, after 2020 with "Boy With Luv" and 2021 with "Dynamite". And the title of the best fan community went to ARMY of BTS for the 5th year in a row.

BTS will perform at the 64th Grammy Awards in Las Vegas (USA) on April 3. At this year's Grammy Awards, BTS received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The K-pop group will then hold live performances at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15 and 16.
