Dong Nai Social Insurance has just announced a list of more than 2,000 agencies that are late in paying/evading paying insurance. Surprisingly, Doan Di Bang and his wife were mentioned in this list. The agency involved in Doan Di Bang's husband owes social insurance nearly 350 million VND

EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company, located in Giang Dien Industrial Park (Dong Nai), has just had its list of social insurance, health insurance (HI) and unemployment insurance (UI) debts announced. Accordingly, this company owes a total of 3 months with a total amount of up to 350 million VND to 36 employees.

The announcement of the list aims to publicly inform about the debt situation and at the same time request the agency to promptly remedy and fully perform the obligation to pay insurance as prescribed.

Notably, this is the unit that produces fake Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products. This company cooperates in producing the product with VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (HCMC) whose CEO and owner is Nguyen Quoc Vu (47 years old, husband of singer Doan Di Bang).

Manufacturing and trading counterfeit goods: Nguyen Quoc Vu in trouble with the law

Previously, in early November, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police issued an arrest warrant for the accused, including Nguyen Quoc Vu (48 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate and clarify the act of Manufacturing and trading counterfeit goods occurring at EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company.

According to Dong Nai Provincial Police, EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (actually owned by Dinh Van Lien) cooperated with VB Group of Nguyen Quoc Vu. Around January 2025, Dinh Van Lien produced and traded 1,652 fake Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products.

Based on the appraisal conclusion, the SPF sunscreen index was only 25.82 (only 51.64% of the SPF 50 index on the packaging). The actions of Dinh Van Lien and Nguyen Quoc Vu were sufficient to constitute the crime of "manufacturing and trading in counterfeit goods", as stipulated in Article 192 of the 2015 Penal Code.

Previously, on May 7, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) also suspended the circulation and requested the destruction of all batches of Hanayuki Shampoo products of the two companies above, due to violating microbial limits and containing ingredients that did not comply with the declaration.

Social Media Consequences: Locking Personal Pages and Silence

Nguyen Quoc Vu is the legal representative and owner of VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited, the legal entity that owns the Hanayuki cosmetics brand. Both Doan Di Bang and her husband are famous faces on social networks, often showing off their lavish lives with luxury cars, designer goods, and diamonds.

The fact that the relevant agency owes insurance and Nguyen Quoc Vu is in trouble with the law has caused public opinion to raise many questions about the contrast between the lavish flex lifestyle and the agency's social and legal responsibilities.

Immediately after Nguyen Quoc Vu was arrested, Doan Di Bang locked her personal Facebook page. The TikTok channel is still public, but has stopped posting since May and turned off the comment feature, showing a major impact on the couple's image and business activities on social networks.
