According to the ruling, defendant Park must pay Big Hit Music 51 million KRW, personally compensate V 10 million KRW and JungKook 15 million KRW (equivalent to 264 million VND).

Previously, Big Hit Music officially filed a lawsuit against "Taldeok Camp" for spreading malicious and false videos about two BTS members. The company also accused Park of using images and content related to BTS without permission, violating the artists' privacy and trademark rights.

It is known that "Taldeok Camp" is a YouTube channel famous for negative content, often spreading false rumors about Kpop idols. This not only affects the reputation of the artists but also creates a lot of controversy in the fan community.

This is not the first time Park has faced legal trouble for defaming a K-pop artist. Just last month, the Incheon District Court sentenced Park to two years of probation and a fine of 200 million KRW (~$139,000 USD) for defaming IVE member Wonyoung. Although the ruling was appealed, it is clear that South Korean law enforcement is cracking down on the spread of false information on social media.

Not stopping there, the Seoul Central District Court also ordered Park to pay 50 million KRW (~35,000 USD) in compensation for defamation of another IVE member.
