As one of the hijackers of "Death in the Air", Suu - the son of the leader of Gradually (Thai Hoa) made many viewers sympathetic. The information related to this actor is equally mysterious.
In the Vietnamese film industry, sometimes one role is enough to change the fate of an actor. For Dao Duy Bao Dinh, the role of Suu in Death in the Air is that important milestone. The character of the son of the leader of the hijacker group not only brings the audience many emotions but also opens up a new artistic journey for Bao Dinh.
In the film, Bao Dinh takes on the role of Suu - the son of the leader of the hijacker group (played by Thai Hoa). Different from his father's cruelty and coldness, Suu is a shy boy who lives under heavy pressure from his family. The character both evokes sympathy and highlights the tragedy of the fateful flight.
The appearance of the Ox makes the story more dramatic, creating a highlight for the film. As a result, Bao Dinh's name began to be noticed by the audience. The special thing is that before the Air Death Battle, there was almost no information about him in the media. On search engines, Bao Dinh's biography or career is also almost open, making many viewers curious: "Who is Bao Dinh?".
Few people know that the opportunity to come to the Death War in the air originated from a Bao Dinh time... shoulder slip. He once tried casting another film directed by Ham Tran but was not chosen. However, it was that failure that opened a new door.
"Later, Mr. Ham Tran took the initiative to message me, advising me not to miss the casting for Death in the Air. He said this role was very suitable and would be good for me," Bao Dinh recounted.
Thanks to that fate, the actor born in 1994 from Khanh Hoa got the role of Suu, a role that is not big but strong enough to clearly portray his personality and complex interiority.
On the day the film opened, Bao Dinh knew that he would act with Thai Hoa â the veteran name of Vietnamese cinema. A new face like him once didn't dare to think that he would have the opportunity to stand in the same frame as his idol.
Being a rather shy person, Bao Dinh admitted that he rarely had a direct professional conversation with Thai Hoa. But the simple everyday stories between the two brothers help him feel comfortable and find harmony.
"Mr. Hoa not only helped me in acting, but also gave me energy and emotions. The way he talked was very close, unobtrusive, but left a deep impression," he recalled.
One of Bao Dinh's most memorable memories is the scene of the injured Ox on the plane. It was a segment that required great initiation, which put him under great pressure.
"When I lay down with emotions, Mr. Hoa sat next to me. Suddenly, he said an off-script sentence: 'If I had known you like that, I wouldn't have taken you anywhere, Ox'. After listening to it, I burst into tears and couldn't stop," Bao Dinh said.
That moment not only made the scene more realistic, but also engraved in his mind as a valuable experience of the profession.
For Bao Dinh, the role of Suu is not only a movie character but also a milestone marking career maturity. He understands that to assert himself, it takes patience, perseverance, and daring to seize opportunities when they come.
