Trieu Hong Ngoc said that the biggest difficulty when being a single mother is the first time after separation. At that time, Tuan Huy (the singer's son) was too young for her to leave him at home alone. At that time, the singer gave up all her work to take care of her children, so finances also became struggling.

"At that time I was like a helpless person in the middle of the road, unemployed and raising children alone. Later, a friend introduced me to singing in some nightclubs in Singapore. I decided to send my children to my grandmother to go earn money to support them. Gradually, my income also stabilized," Zhao Hong Ngoc said.

The singer shared that in the first 15 years after the divorce, she and her ex-husband had a rather strained relationship, unable to talk to each other.

"So I raised him alone, and I didn't get any support from his father. But from 2 years ago, her dad made up for things he wasn't responsible for before. We are now like friends, taking care of our son together," the beauty said.

At the age of 40, Trieu Hong Ngoc enjoys a comfortable and peaceful single life. In her free time, the singer is not afraid to go out for coffee, go to the movies, go out to eat alone.
