Singer Nhu Y was born in 1985 in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. Since grade 5, Nhu Y won first prize in a local singing contest and studied at Bien Hoa School of Culture and Arts.

At the age of 17, Nhu Y participated in the Dong Nai Television Singing Contest and won first prize. She continued to compete in the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest and won fourth prize.

In 2004, Nhu Y started her singing career at bars and clubs every night and continuously released many albums. After 6 albums and 4 songs composed by herself, Nhu Y suddenly moved to the US to settle down and develop her music career overseas.

After two broken relationships, Nhu Y admitted that she is more realistic and less dreamy. All she expects from the other person is someone who loves her, understands and shares with her, not someone who is patriarchal and disrespectful.

"I'm not afraid to love someone younger. I'm financially independent, not dependent or have the mindset of relying on others," the female singer expressed.
At 40, Nhu Y is not pressured about marriage. For her, marriage must come from certainty and readiness from both sides, not because of old age or to please her parents. She is also not pressured by her family to get married.

In particular, the female singer from Dong Nai does not put too much emphasis on having children. For her, having children is fine, but not having children is also fine. The female singer does not agree with being a mother without a husband or a father.

The singer told Ngoi Sao newspaper: "My current job makes me move constantly, I can be away from home for weeks. If any man accepts it, we can come together.

Even when it comes to children, I think differently from most people: having them is fine, not having them is fine too. Everything depends on fate, living a useful life, doing things you love is good enough. If I really want to have a baby, I want my child to have a home with both parents. That way, the child will develop best, better than if I were a single mother."

Nhu Y commented: "I see that most successful people in society are very decisive, but flexible. Me too, if the other person is right, I still listen, but if they are wrong, I don't listen.

I see that Quang Le is single and lonely but still young. So clearly being single is good, without pressure from the people around him."

Quang Le said: "Actually, having someone next to me is good, but if I don't have someone, I have to get used to it. I still have an assistant and friends, so I'm less sad and lonely."
