TikToker Phi Anh – a German international student with 1.3 million followers – caused a shock when he admitted his mistake after the clip mocking a disabled girl, begging to meet the victim again to apologize directly.

On October 12, TikToker Nguyen Phi Anh – a Vietnamese student in Germany, who owns more than 1.3 million followers – posted a public apology after facing a wave of fierce condemnation for an old video allegedly mocking a disabled girl on a German street.

In the post, Phi Anh expressed: "I sincerely apologize to the girl in the video, her family and everyone who feels hurt by her thoughtless actions." He explained that the clip, which was filmed about two months ago, was "improvised, without bad intentions".

The male TikToker said that in the past, he often posted videos in the style of "crazy" and "crazy" to make people laugh, and the last clip was only in that series of content. He emphasized that he had no intention of ridiculing or insulting anyone, especially people with disabilities.

According to Phi Anh, when the clip was first posted two months ago, almost no one paid attention. However, on October 8, the video suddenly went viral on social networks. Many netizens said that the girl who appeared in the clip showed signs of disability and thought that Phi Anh's actions were insulting and disrespectful.

In response to the negative reaction, this TikToker immediately deleted the clip, and posted his first apology. He shared that he had a defect in his hand since childhood, so he understood the feeling of being ridiculed by others. "As someone who has been hurt by appearance, I never meant to insult those who have such defects," he said.

After noticing the impactful incident, on October 9, Phi Anh returned to the location where the clip was filmed to find the girl with the desire to apologize directly. However, despite asking many people around him, he still could not determine the identity of the baby and his family.

"I also contacted the police for assistance, but they said they had no right to disclose personal information. If your family happens to read these lines, please give me the opportunity to meet in person to say my sincere apology," he added.

Phi Anh admitted that in the past few days, he has been under heavy mental pressure when he was condemned by the online community on many forums. However, he said that he would take responsibility to the end and consider this a big lesson in the journey of making content.

The 22-year-old TikToker's apology post quickly attracted attention. Many viewers expressed sympathy, saying that he was just unintentional, not intentionally offending. However, there are also many opinions that the apology is not convincing enough, because the victim is German but he wrote in Vietnamese, making it difficult for the message to reach the person who needs to receive it.

Some netizens commented that this is not the first time Phi Anh has created "offensive" content. Previously, he had posted many controversial clips, often showing excessive actions in public.
