Thanh Thuy is in the top 50 most beautiful Miss World, the only one from Vietnam

On February 23, beauty site Globalbeauties announced the list of top 50 Miss Global Beauties - Miss World 2024. This year, the Globalbeauties awar.d changed its name after nearly 30 years of existence.

Previously, Globalbeauties experts only selected contestants from the world's biggest beauty pageants such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Grand International for nomination.

This year, Globalbeauties selected beauties from all the pageants that the site has covered to be nominated. The newly established beauty pageant Miss Cosmo was also nominated for the Miss World 2024 awar.d.

The list of top 50 Miss World 2024 includes the reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková, the reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig, the reigning Miss Grand International Rachel Gupta, the reigning Miss Supranational Harashta Haifa Zahra, the reigning Miss Cosmo - Ketut Permata Juliastrid, and the reigning Miss Earth Jessica Lane.

The reigning Miss International Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is also in the top 50 nominees for the most beautiful Miss World 2024. She is the only Vietnamese beauty nominated this year. Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is the first Vietnamese beauty to be crowned Miss International. She is also the first Miss Vietnam to achieve the highest achievement in a long-standing, prestigious international beauty pageant.

With her achievement of winning Miss International, Thanh Thuy helped Vietnamese beauty rise 2 places on the achievement rankings of countries after updating the results of major beauty contests in the Big 5 in 2024 voted by the Missosology website. Many viewers predict that Thanh Thuy will win a high ranking in the poll of the most beautiful Miss World 2024 by Globalbeauties.

Miss Grand Slam is a prestigious beauty title voted by the Globalbeauties website. This is an annual awar.d, starting in 1998. The winner of the Miss Grand Slam title is considered the most beautiful beauty queen among all the beauty queens participating in the major beauty contest of that year.

In recent years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, competitions have been interrupted, so the Miss Grand Slam tournament has also cooled down. Since 2020, Miss Grand Slam has lost its appeal. In 2023, the beauty who won the Miss Grand Slam - The Most Beautiful Miss World awar.d was Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, born in 2002, from Da Nang, was crowned "Miss Vietnam 2022". During her nearly 2 years in office, Thanh Thuy actively participated in artistic activities as well as community activities, participating in many projects to help people in difficult situations. She was chosen as the beauty representing Vietnam to attend the "Miss International 2024" contest held in Japan in November 2024.

With careful preparation and high determination, Thanh Thuy brought the image of a brave, graceful and proud Vietnamese representative to the international stage.

Like many other major beauty pageants in the world, "Miss International 2024" accepts contestants who have undergone cosmetic surgery to improve their appearance. Thanh Thuy once openly shared about having "plastic surgery" to perfect her appearance, specifically nose surgery, breast augmentation, porcelain teeth...

The beauty said that this was a difficult decision for her, especially when she did these things just a few months after wearing the "Miss Vietnam" crown. After the cosmetic surgery, Thanh Thuy said she was very happy because many people complimented her for being more beautiful and having more charisma. Along with that, she also cultivated many other factors such as: body shape, skills, education, not just focusing on improving her external appearance.
