She was born in 1977 in Ho Chi Minh City. Although born in Vietnam, from the age of 2, she immigrated with her mother to the US. After a long time abroad, she decided to return and work in Vietnam since 2008.

After unsuccessfully settling in the US, Thai Van Linh returned to Vietnam and began her journey to find her passion. Thanks to perseverance and relentless efforts, Thai Van Linh has overcome challenges and become one of the most successful women in Vietnam.

It is known that after graduating from university in the US, Thai Van Linh started her career at a consulting company. Because the company's policies are slightly different, she has to wait up to 3-4 months to receive her salary, causing many difficulties for her. However, it was her persistent nature that helped her successfully complete a marketing course and become an expert in this field.

However, because she has so much passion, desire, ambition and desire to change her life, Shark Thai Van Linh did not hesitate but quickly decided to leave her job at a bank in the US to return to Vietnam. In 2012, she won the position of CEO of Vietnam Investment Fund (DFJ VinaCapital fund), marking an important turning point in her career.

Besides being the CEO of the investment fund, Thai Van Linh has also founded startups such as The One Couture and Rita Phil. With Rita Phil, she has created a successful fashion brand, specializing in producing skirts according to unique measurements and designs.

In 2017, when there were many scandals on social networks questioning that she was not an investor representing VinaCapital fund, representatives of the group voiced their affirmation of Thai Van Linh's title as Director of Strategy and Operations. Since she was 2 years old, Tsai Van Linh moved with her mother to the United States and then stayed with her mother and adoptive father. She had a difficult childhood and had to help her family from an early age, starting with helping her mother sew and helping her father mow the lawn when she was 10 years old.

After graduating from high school in a small town in the US, Thai Van Linh continued her undergraduate studies in General Business Administration at the University of Southern California and later earned a master's degree in Business Administration - majoring in finance from the University of Pennsylvania. It is her continuous efforts in study and life that have helped her grow and achieve the success she is today.

In 2012, after years of focusing on her career, Thai Van Linh married Kevin Yee, a successful marketing manager who is currently CMO of POPS Worldwide and they have a lovely daughter. However, with her career, Thai Van Linh never stops learning and striving to reach success.
