Quynh Nga - From popular editor to national director of Miss Universe Vietnam: Family background, excellent education

MC, BTV Quynh Nga was born in 1995. She is not a strange name to the "hard fans" of domestic beauty contests. Quynh Nga was in the Top 10 of Miss World Vietnam 2019.

Previously, the beauty participated in the Vietnam Student Runner-up 2017, Miss Talent of Charming Foreign Trade 2015 and a number of other school-level competitions.

Quynh Nga was once sent to compete in Miss Charm 2023, but she suddenly withdrew at the last minute. Referring to the reason for not competing in Miss Charm 2023, Quynh Nga said: "This is quite an emotional decision for me because it not only ends the journey with Miss Charm but also ends the journey of experience with other events. beauty contest". At the final of Miss Charm 2023, Quynh Nga took the position of MC with MC Phuong Mai.

In addition to her achievements in many beauty contests, Quynh Nga also has a good academic record. She is a former student of Chu Van An High School and passed the entrance exam to the prestigious Foreign Trade University, majoring in Foreign Economic Relations. During university, Quynh Nga actively participated in school movements in addition to maintaining good academic performance.

She has achieved IELTS 7.5 and attended a high quality course taught in English at Tel Aviv University (Israel) in August 2018. In May of that year, Quynh Nga surpassed nearly 4,000 competitors to become one of three authors with excellent startup ideas and won a scholarship of $6,000 (more than VND 137 million) in Israel. Not only that, the beauty was in the Top 30 KAWAI Startups 2013 organized by Foreign Trade University.

Quynh Nga shared that she is very interested in environmental and social issues and hopes to create many useful projects for the community in the future.

Quynh Nga got where she is today because of her hard work. Few people know that, in college, Quynh Nga was teased for her weight of 64.5 kg. Faced with a lot of pressure to study, she finds joy by eating. Quynh Nga once revealed that there was a time when she ate up to 5 meals a day, often drank milk tea, ate cakes, etc. Previously, because she did not pay attention to her appearance, Quynh Nga ignored the advice to lose weight. It was not until the end of the 2nd year of university that the beauty became more conscious of her body. Despite dieting and exercising, her weight at that time was still around 60 kg.

When appearing at "Miss Ao Dai", Quynh Nga was controversial because of her chubby appearance and limited height, standard deviation of the Miss contests at that time. Through the process of participating in the contest, the audience witnessed Quynh Nga's weight loss efforts. However, because she was too inexperienced, she only stopped at the top 9. After a long time of determination, Quynh Nga lost 51 kg, the third round decreased from 98 cm to 93 cm.

The beauty tries to maintain a scientific diet and exercise. Quynh Nga shares the secret to losing weight is to eat boiled meat, limit spicy foods and increase green vegetables. Every day, she drinks nearly 2 liters of water. Every eating activity is recorded by her and carefully calculated calories. In addition, Quynh Nga also spends 5-6 days doing cardio, about an hour and a half each session.

Thanks to the process of perfecting both knowledge and physique, Quynh Nga was accepted into Vietnam Television. When she was admitted to VTV, she tried her hand at being a news reporter, then switched to host. The first program Quynh Nga took on the MC position was the 24-hour health news on VTV1. After that, she switched to 24h Motion, next to editors like Thuy Van, Thu Huong, Son Lam...

Sharing about the pressure when taking on the position of Editor of 24h Motion, MC Quynh Nga said that she feels a bit sad every time she sees her sisters doing everything well, but she is still young or compared to someone. However, the pressure helps her to motivate herself to try hard, not to be discouraged and in a hurry.
