Huong Ly's full name is Nguyen Thi Huong Ly, born in 1995 in Gia Lai. Coming from a farming family, she had a childhood associated with farm work before pursuing an artistic path. In 2015, she was crowned the Champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model, opening a career as a professional model.

After that, Huong Ly tried many times at the Miss Universe Vietnam playground - reached the Top 5 overall in 2019 and 2022 with the Fashion Beauty sub-prize. A year later, she enrolled in Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 and was crowned 1st runner-up.

With many years of experience in the field of modeling and fighting at beauty contests, Huong Ly has been appointed as the National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam, accompanying Miss Bui Quynh Hoa at Miss Universe 2023 held in El Salvador.

Regarding her personal life, Huong Ly was once entangled in dating rumors but denied it. The queen said that there was no pressure about getting married and prioritizing self-development.
