Quoc Nghiep exposed photos of performing on the street, staying in the US to find a way to make a living?

Recently, social media was abuzz with the latest image of Quoc Nghiep. Accordingly, the circus actor and his son performed at a temple in the US on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

There were only a few dozen spectators below the stage, a far cry from Quoc Nghiep's previous shows which were always crowded with viewers.

In the comment section, netizens expressed regret for Quoc Co's younger brother when his career was seriously affected after the "strange flag" scandal. Some comments from the audience: "In Vietnam, running shows is tiring, the audience is always crowded and he still wants to go to America to entertain"; "Once a glorious time, but now it looks so boring"; "Suddenly I feel sorry for the kids";... Currently, the owner has not commented on the above photo.

Previously, in May, a video clip was circulated on social media showing singer O Sen Ngoc Mai and her husband, circus artist Quoc Nghiep, playing with their child in a room. The video featured controversial images, and the artist's family later removed it from social media.

The incident angered the audience, with some calling for a boycott, even a "ban" of these two artists. In the face of the noise and criticism from the audience, Meritorious Artist Quoc Nghiep spoke up to respond.

Accordingly, Quoc Nghiep said that their family had a summer vacation combined with performing for a charity program in the US. While staying at a friend's house, they could not control the images appearing in the video and "promised to learn from this experience".

Quoc Nghiep explained: "In order to save funds for the Huong Duong children, the whole group was always transported and accommodated by volunteers. After more than 2 weeks apart, the whole family happily reunited in the house of a volunteer to wait for the main house. Husband and wife, father and son were happily playing so they did not pay attention to their surroundings, did not control any details that were caught on camera. Through this incident, Quoc Nghiep-Ngoc Mai learned a profound lesson and will not let similar things happen again."

However, this response has further angered the public. Quoc Nghiep’s personal Facebook page is currently still locked from comments. O Sen Ngoc Mai’s social media account has disappeared after the scandal.

On the afternoon of June 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports responded that it had contacted Quoc Nghiep and Ngoc Mai. A representative of the Department said: "We have contacted the artists involved. After June 26, when Quoc Nghiep and Ngoc Mai return to Vietnam, the Department of Culture will invite the two artists to work and will have information later."

On August 15, at a regular meeting, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports informed about the noisy incident involving artists Ngoc Mai and Quoc Nghiep in the US. The Department representative said that the authorities are still verifying whether Ngoc Mai and Quoc Nghiep have returned to Vietnam or not.

"We will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies on this content and inform the press after having specific results," said the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports.

Regarding Quoc Nghiep and Ngoc Mai's trip abroad, an official from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism told Dan Tri reporter that according to the 2010 Law on Civil Servants, requests for leave (unpaid leave) in general and business trips and overseas travel for officials, civil servants and public employees must have the consent of the head of the agency. If the artist couple Ngoc Mai - Quoc Nghiep are working in a state agency, they need permission from the leader to perform abroad.

Previously, sharing with the press, Ms. Nguyen My Hanh, Party Secretary, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, said that the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music had terminated the contract with lecturer Ngoc Mai since 2019. Currently, singer Ngoc Mai is no longer a lecturer and is not participating in guest lectures at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

Ngoc Mai's real name is Le Nhu Ngoc Mai, born in 1987 in Quang Tri. She has a Master's degree in Vocal Music and has worked for many years at the Conservatory of Music as a lecturer.

In 2022, Ngoc Mai unexpectedly received the attention of the audience when she won the championship of the program "Masked Singer" with the image of O Sen.

Quoc Nghiep was born in 1989, the younger brother of the famous Vietnamese circus artist couple Quoc Co - Quoc Nghiep. They set many Guinness World Records and received the title of Meritorious Artist at a very young age (Quoc Co at 28 years old, Quoc Nghiep at 26 years old).
