Unfortunately, when it seemed that everything was taken back, the channel "East Paulo Vlogs" was too black, immediately removed permanently from Youtube due to violations of the platform's policies. We are still working directly with Youtube to be able to restore Mr. Dong's channel to its original state...".

Besides, this male YouTuber is also optimistic that if he really loses the East Paulo Vlogs channel, he can recreate, no big problem. Quang Linh thanked the audience for worrying and encouraging the team when they encountered an unfortunate incident.

Specifically, earlier on the morning of April 2, the YouTube channel Mixi Gaming with more than 7 million followers was hijacked, renamed and live streamed unusual content. All old videos on the account are gone. Instead, there are pieces of content brought back from the official channel of the blockchain project.

Two live streams were also posted on the channel at the time of the hack. The image in the fake livestream video is collaged from podcast clips, in an interview with Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple. Attached to the content is a link of the hacker, urging viewers to deposit crypto to receive double rewards.

"To participate, you just need to send any amount, 1,000-500,000 XRP to the donation address. We'll double send it back immediately," the message read, with the link on the livestream video. At its peak, about 200,000 people watched the live broadcasts on the Hijacked Mixi Gaming channel.

Fortunately, the "patriarch" also took control of his personal account.

Currently, the aforementioned account has a profile picture, the cover photo has been changed to the profile picture of the channel owner. At the same time, the direct path also transforms into @MixiGaming3con instead of @Ripple2024_Neww as when the channel was appropriated. However, the account name still shows as Microstrategy US. All the old videos and livestreams are gone. The playlist and community sections of the channel have not returned.

He added that the channel was supported by YouTube and MCN (Multi-Channel Network Company). However, more time is needed for the platform to fully restore the previous content.

The account hijacking over the past day caused the account owner to suffer losses in terms of views and total followers. Before that, the channel had about 7.32 million subscribers. At one point, the number now displayed on the platform was 7.28 million. Thus, the Mixi Gaming channel has lost 40,000 followers in a short time. According to data from Social Blade, it took the aforementioned account almost 30 days to grow 40,000 followers.

The fact that YouTube channels with a large number of followers are attacked by hackers, taking the right to livestream cryptocurrency scams is not new.
