He further revealed that little Lavie still remembers many memories of her late mother - actress Mai Phuong: "Every time she passes by somewhere that reminds her of her mother, she remembers very clearly. She said she missed preschool, her grandparents' house, the apartment she used to live in with her mother. Her mother is gone, I don't say much, but she remembers it all. He's smart. Memories of being 2 years old, 4 years old, 5 years old, celebrating a trip to Thailand with my mother... He remembers."

In Phung Ngoc Huy's eyes, girls are strong, personal, "easy to raise". She often asks her father about life in the U.S. and how to talk "like an adult." When the actor flew back to America, Lavie said goodbye to her father but did not cry.

Regarding the reason why the baby has not been picked up to the US, Phung Ngoc Huy said that she is in the process of completing the procedures and has to wait patiently, not rashly. "It's very difficult to leave in the U.S., it's very difficult to get paperwork in the U.S. The paperwork has to be done in order, so it has to wait for time", the Sun Gate actor continued, "As long as Huy can return to Vietnam regularly, visit his family, visit his children, he will be happy."

Phung Ngoc Huy affirmed that he wants to be with his daughter soon to take care of and be close to his child, especially in the stage of growing up. Besides, the singer also revealed his plans to celebrate Tet 2024 in Vietnam and be with his daughter Lavie.
