Previously, Kim Tieu Ly's heart disease relapsed, forcing her to be hospitalized. However, after only two days of treatment, doctors announced that her condition had worsened and was incurable, and the family was asked to prepare themselves mentally.

Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long's real name is Truong Hoang Kep, born in 1974 in Vinh Long, known as a famous cai luong artist in Vietnam during the 90s. Kim Tieu Long had a biological sister who passed away at the age of 35, leaving behind two young children and the male artist alone to raise the children.

Kim Tieu Long's first stage name was Chau Kep. Later, he sang the role of a young monk in the play Lan and Diep, so he took the stage name Chau Kiet, but he kept singing and never became famous. The climax came after a group of strangers came looking for him with knives because they mistook him for someone else named Chau Kiet. Kim Tieu Long was so traumatized that he abandoned this name.

After that, Kim Tieu Long went to sing in Ca Mau for the Sao Ngan Phuong troupe. A brother in the troupe told the male artist to change his name to Tieu Long. He listened and took the name Tieu Long.
