According to press reports, the notice of the meeting was sent to the plaintiff, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (younger sister of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh) and the defendant, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (daughter of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh) and a number of people with related rights and obligations.

Previously, on July 8, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court held a conciliation session with the parties. The plaintiff requested to verify the signature of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh on the adoption handover document dated March 21, 1992 and the adoption handover certificate book dated January 2, 1992.

After the meeting, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court requested the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology to request an appraisal of the signatures on the relevant documents. The samples that need appraisal are the adoption handover certificate and the book of issuance of the adoption handover certificate.

Comparison form, related documents or attachments including house sale documents, two notices of change of permanent residence and personal profile for title consideration (photocopy).

According to the appraisal conclusion, the signature appraisal process used specialized professional support tools, under infrared and ultraviolet light sources with appropriate wavelengths, and found that the signature on the personal documents proposed for consideration for award of the title was a photocopy, so it was not used as a comparison sample.

The sample signatures compared with the house purchase documents and two notices of change of permanent residence show few stable individual characteristics, not enough basis for conclusion.

Therefore, there is not enough basis to conclude whether the signature on the adoption handover document and the adoption handover certificate issuance book compared with the signature of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh on the sample documents are signed by the same person or not.

Previously, according to information from the Health and Life newspaper, the lawsuit related to the inheritance dispute of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh was accepted and resolved by the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District from June 2023. Because it was not within its jurisdiction, the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District transferred the case file to the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City for resolution.

According to the conciliation minutes dated July 8, in addition to the request for the signature verification of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, the plaintiff also requested the court to cancel the birth certificate and the adoption certificate of Ms. Hong Loan; cancel the inheritance declaration document made by Ms. Hong Loan at the notary office for the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh's estate, which is the house and land at No. 5 Doan Thi Diem, Phu Nhuan District; the right to use land plots No. 87, 88, Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City and a car; cancel the updated change on the certificate of house No. 5 Doan Thi Diem regarding the content of the transfer of ownership to Ms. Hong Loan.

Request to determine the entire legacy of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh as inherited property owned by the second-order heirs. Force those residing at house number 5 Doan Thi Diem to return the house to Ms. Nhung and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu.

On the defendant’s side, Hong Loan said she did not accept all of the plaintiff’s lawsuit requests. The defendant is a first-line heir and has submitted to the court all documents verifying that she is the legitimate child of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh.

Ms. Loan's declaration of assets and updating and registering the name change on the land use rights certificate were completely appropriate. Ms. Loan filed a counterclaim, requesting Ms. Nhung and Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong to move all their assets out of house number 5 Doan Thi Diem.

The above result almost means that Ms. 6 'lost painfully' to Hong Loan, not only could she not have full use of the house at 5 Doan Thi Diem, but she also had to pay a very high fee to pay court fees.
