Phu Gia Gia: Makeup for Miss Ngoc Chau, one of 6 Vietnamese people who died in Thailand

Regarding the case of 6 Vietnamese people found dead in the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel in Bangkok on July 16, the Bangkok Post said that Thai police have just announced the identities of the victims.

As follows:

- Chong Sherine (56 years old) and Dang Hung Van (55 years old): Both are Vietnamese with American nationality.

- The remaining 4 people have Vietnamese nationality including: Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan (47 years old), Pham Hong Thanh (49 years old), Tran Dinh Phu (37 years old) and Nguyen Thi Phuong (46 years old).

Among them, Tran Dinh Phu is known as a famous makeup artist in the Vietnamese entertainment industry, often called Phu Gia Gia.

Through his personal page and Fanpage, Tran Dinh Phu (born in 1987) shared that he worked with many famous Vietnamese stars such as: Miss Ocean Vietnam 2023 Tran Thi Thu Uyen, 2nd runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 Tran Nguyen Minh Thu; Meritorious Artist Linh Nga, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau...

Notably, makeup artist Phu Gia Gia is also in charge of makeup for many fashion shows and events in the country. In addition, this makeup artist born in 1987 also takes on the role of teaching and imparting experience in the makeup profession.

Regarding the case, Major General Theeradet Thumsuthee - investigation commander of the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Department, said that the initial cause of six people's deaths was believed to be poison.

The victims checked in at different times, on July 13 and July 14, respectively. The victims are believed to know each other. When the incident was discovered, in the hotel room on the 5th floor there were 6 cups of drinks and 6 meals.

According to police investigation, these 6 people seemed to have drank coffee and tea in the hotel room before they left. However, it is unclear whether the victims were foolish or poisoned. The police are still expanding their investigation.

Lieutenant General Thiti Saengsawang - Bangkok Police Commissioner added that there were no signs of a fight, and all six victims planned to check out on July 16. Their luggage has been packed.
