In recent days, social media has been abuzz with the clip - sharing information that an elderly woman in Ca Mau was beaten to injury by her daughter-in-law. In just a short time, the clip has garnered more than 11,000 views and many comments — expressing outrage.

Specifically, according to the Traffic Newspaper, on August 18, the People's Committee of Nguyen Viet Concept commune (Phu Tan district, Ca Mau province) said that the commune police had completed the dossier and submitted it to the Chairman of Phu Tan district People's Committee - issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against the woman who is the mother-in-law - the main character of the above clip.

Accordingly, the police of Nguyen Viet Concept commune imposed a fine on her daughter-in-law - L.T.C.L (38 years old, Tan Quang A hamlet, Nguyen Viet Khoi commune, Phu Tan district, Ca Mau province) of VND 7.5 million for the act of "causing injury to family members". According to Tien Phong, due to the lack of sufficient evidence, the police could not pursue criminal prosecution for Ms. L's behavior.

It is known that earlier on August 14, the police of Nguyen Viet Concept commune received a report that Mrs. L.T.S (69 years old, Tan Quang A commune, Nguyen Viet Khe commune, Phu Tan district) was beaten by her daughter-in-law - with injuries all over her face.

Accordingly, the woman who acted against her mother-in-law named L.T.C.L. hit Mrs. S.'s face and right eye area with her hand. Mrs. L. was then called to the Police Department to work and admitted to causing injury to her mother-in-law. In addition, local functional branches also carry out propaganda and education work; Mrs. L. also pledged not to reoffend.

It is known that the news that S. was abused by his daughter-in-law was posted by a YouTube account that attracted more than 11,000 views and many angry comments.

In the clip posted on social media, Mrs. S. recounted the cause of being beaten by her daughter-in-law. " I advise my daughter-in-law not to finish drinking saucepans, pots and dishes so that the neighbors will disagree.

I also advised him not to listen to strangers' phones at night that would affect the family. So my daughter-in-law beat me. This is the third time I've been beaten by my daughter-in-law," Mrs. S. sobbed and said.

Recently on August 19, talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Van Hoa - Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee said that he has instructed relevant units to strictly handle the case of the mother-in-law being beaten by her daughter-in-law.

"Regarding the above case, the police reported insufficient grounds and evidence for criminal action, so they had to sanction administrative violations. I signed 2 documents to the district police and relevant units requesting to review and clarify responsibility for the delay in reporting" - Mr. Hoa added.

Earlier, on August 18, the Lao Lao newspaper had an article reflecting "Mother-in-law beaten by daughter-in-law in Ca Mau caused a stir on social networks". Since then, the Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee has sent a request to the district police chief to direct specialized departments to investigate and clarify the above contents for handling according to regulations. Report the results to the District People's Committee Chairman no later than August 22.

" Direct to clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals in the management of the area and delay in reporting information (the incident occurred at 12:00 on August 10 and Mr. L.T.S. came to report to the commune on August 14, but it was not until August 17 that the Nguyen Viet Concept Commune Police reported to the People's Committee at the same level...), review disposal according to jurisdiction..." - text stated.

Currently, the case is still causing a stir. Many expressed outrage at the daughter-in-law's "aggressive" actions. It's unclear what kind of family relationship there was between Mrs. L. and Mrs. S., but it was both illegal and moral for the woman to act "physically" on others—especially her mother-in-law.

The clip above is still going viral. And whether the daughter-in-law named L. will continue to hate her mother-in-law remains unknown.
