I had to worry and manage this and that, so my mind was tight for 3-4 years like that... I was exhausted. Slowly, I became mentally ill. When I went to the stage, I didn't dare to sing when I saw the lights, and when I saw crowds, I was afraid. Live shows are always interrupted, I finished dressing up until the show started, my heart was pounding, I couldn't sing like that. But then I have a reputation like that, I was a bit sad at that time. In the past, whoever invited to go out to drink with a large number of people was happy, now when they are sick, they are afraid to go anywhere. At that time, the 10 doctors I went to the mental hospital could get 5 people. I still get goosebumps thinking about it now."

During the period of convalescence, artist Trong Nghia was fortunate to have the companionship and sharing of relatives and colleagues to help him get better. In addition, the male artist tries very hard to think about his family, career... to raise his spirits. Although when he returned to the stage he was "slower" than everyone else, the audience gradually forgot, but the fire of his profession enlightened him to constantly strive and only a few years later, he regained his position.

There was a time when the theater stage gradually disappeared from the audience, Trong Nghia had to drive while performing comedy shows to support family life. He missed Cai Luong and Ho Quang a lot, but he couldn't find his way back until he met artist Vu Linh.

The male artist shared: "Later on, Mr. Vu Linh returned to the troupe to set up the play 'Heavy burden Giang san' so that he could sing the main role, I sang the second role. Maybe the trade group pulled me back so I could meet and sing that role, because of me. 40 years of working hard under the spotlight, despite many ups and downs, still fortunate to be able to return to the profession, artist Trong Nghia always feels cherished about that. On the career path, the male artist has the greatest luck that he has a family as a solid back. After a broken marriage, Trong Nghia married a second time at the age of 52.

Trong Nghia used to have an unhappy married life and left the stage because of psychological effects. He then found his current wife, who helped him regain his sanity and return to the arts. Trong Nghia's wife, born in 1995, is 29 years younger than him. Trong Nghia said that Thanh Trang is a beautiful, talented girl who behaves very skillfully and is especially brave, she is also the one to help him return to the stage.
