From a famous artist, giving up her ego to do nails to have money to raise children but was betrayed by her husband. Accepting forgiveness but still breaking up the marriage, the female artist alone burdened for 17 years to raise children in a foreign country and suddenly suffered a stroke due to pressure.

Artist Minh Phuong is famous for his outstanding supporting roles for a while

For the 8X generation, the name Minh Phuong is not strange. The special thing is that even in his heyday, artist Minh Phuong almost never played the main role. She only took on supporting roles but sometimes made a deeper impression than the main role. Over time, the name Minh Phuong grew in the love of the public. NS Minh Phuong once said: "I am a stubborn girl who likes to do unruly things. Instead of entering art school, I chose forestry. I spent a few years of my youth in the forest. But life is harsh. It's not the right job for women.

My sister is writer, screenwriter and director Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc. Seeing that I was miserable, she advised me to turn to art. I entered the directing department of course 7 of School of Dramatic Arts 2 in the same class as Minh Nhi".

Usually, in art schools, there are two departments of directing and acting at the same time. Because of objective difficulties, that 7 year course of the School of Dramatic Arts 2 only had a director class but no actor class.

Therefore, students in directing class have to act on their own exercises and skits. This is the reason why Minh Phuong had the opportunity to practice her acting skills and shine as an actor with many of her classmates at that time.

Followed her husband to settle in a foreign country, but was betrayed

At the same time as Thanh Loc, Hong Van, Hong Dao, and Minh Nhi, NS Minh Phuong was very expensive in the late 1980s and extended to 1990. The position of the female artist was not inferior to her famous colleagues.

However, while his friends toured abroad touring Europe, Minh Phuong still aspired to live and work in the West. Then that opportunity also came to the actress, at the age of 35 Minh Phuong married her husband, an overseas Vietnamese in Canada and quickly settled here.

After giving birth to her first child, artist Minh Phuong returned to Vietnam to continue working. Even after giving birth to the second child, the female artist still participates in many domestic shows from films to theater and television dramas. But when the two children reached school age, Minh Phuong was forced to return to Canada, since then the female artist gave up the image of an artist to work on nails. "Whenever I see a Vietnamese person asking if it's artist Minh Phuong, I avoid them," NS Minh Phuong confessed.

She gave up her famous artist ego to work as a child supporter for 17 years, but Minh Phuong faced even greater sadness. Artist Minh Phuong's husband has another woman. After everything was broken, she chose to forgive but the marriage could not be saved. Since then, artist Minh Phuong chose to work alone and take care of her children.

Stroke due to life pressure

Life events have not stopped, NS Minh Phuong once shared: "At about 4 pm on Monday, May 28, 2018. The reason I remember that is because I was working at the nail salon at the time. Right now. It makes both workers and customers very crowded. Usually when done, I will get up and go on to do other work but at that time, I don't want to get up. I feel very tired. I sit all the time. Customers ask and then the workers ask, I Everyone thought I was hit by the wind, so I took out some oil to rub it, but the feeling didn't go away.

Luckily I didn't get up. If you fall, you don't know what bad will happen. At that time, my mind was completely awake but my body was exhausted. Everyone felt that it was not enough, so they called an ambulance. Fortunately, the hospital is not far, about 10 minutes, the car arrives. When people carried me on the stretcher, I still remember and know it all. Carrying me to the car, they did not take me immediately, but gave me first aid for about 5, 10 minutes. The car drove for about 25 minutes, passing another city with a larger hospital. When I pushed into the elevator, I still knew, but then passed out, no longer knowing anything. It was around 5pm then. It was almost 8pm when I woke up. Fortunately, during the golden hour, I was treated in time and lost consciousness for a short time because someone was in a coma for a month due to severe brain damage."

After the stroke, NS Kim Phuong's health was affected, the eldest son had to leave school to shoulder the family: "I recovered my speaking ability, restored memory, but my right leg and arm were still very weak. Walking. It was difficult. So I couldn't go back to work. So my eldest son was forced to drop out of school and find a job to help support his mother."

How is life right now?

In 2019, Minh Phuong returned to Vietnam. Also from here, the female artist has worked hard on her artistic activities when continuously participating in programs such as: Thank God, You Are Here, a web-drama, Happy Memories... Before that, after being ill. 1 year, NS Minh Phuong also went to the US to play with Minh Ngoc and participated in a play in the program Ngoc Trong Tim.
