Artist Nguyen Phan Manh Duy passed away at the age of 35 after only a few days in the hospital. In the memories of his colleagues, he lived in harmony and was devoted to his profession.

Artist Nguyen Phan Manh Duy breathed his last on the evening of October 21 after a few days in the hospital for treatment of respiratory infection. His passing left colleagues and relatives shocked and saddened.

The last photo Nguyen Phan Manh Duy posted on his personal page was when he was lying in a hospital bed, 5 days ago. At that time, the artist shared: "Genetically, I have a habit of using saline bottles to stay healthy, who would have thought that I would also be attached to a huge oxygen tank."

At that time, many colleagues texted him to ask about his health. Nguyen Phan Manh Duy also left comments to reply to each person. His students even bought food and water to visit their teacher.

Unexpectedly, just a few days later, the male artist suddenly passed away. Sharing with the press, conductor Le Ha My, Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, said Nguyen Phan Manh Duy was hospitalized at District 8 Hospital due to viral fever. His blood oxygen index (SpO2) was very low, only at 79%, and his condition was getting worse.

Nguyen Phan Manh Duy was then transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive. His relatives took him home that night to hold a funeral in Da Lat (Lam Dong).

"When he was alive, Manh Duy lived in harmony with everyone and was responsible in his work. The theater was preparing a big program, Symphony No. 9, which Duy was expected to participate in. I did not expect Manh Duy to pass away so suddenly, leaving everyone shocked," said conductor Le Ha My.

Ms. Nguyen Thoai Huong, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, said that she and her colleagues were on the bus to Da Lat (Lam Dong) to pay their respects and say goodbye to their colleague. The last time Ms. Thoai Huong saw Manh Duy was at a rehearsal more than a week ago. At that time, his health was still normal.

"Manh Duy was gentle and enthusiastic with his colleagues and work. Manh Duy's sudden passing is a great pain for the theater and his students," said Ms. Thoai Huong. In the memories of his colleagues, Nguyen Phan Manh Duy was a positive and energetic person. He always devoted himself to his work, wholeheartedly supporting everyone around him, especially supporting his juniors in the profession.

The funeral and memorial service for the male artist were held at Chi Lang parish church. On October 25, Nguyen Phan Manh Duy's coffin will be cremated at the Dalat Universe Crematorium. Artist Manh Duy (full name Nguyen Phan Manh Duy) was born in 1989 and was a key member of the choir of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera.

He participated in concerts and many plays such as: The Funny Widow, The Adventures of a Cricket... Most recently, the artist participated in the opera Footprints of Time.

In addition to singing, Manh Duy also teaches vocal music at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City, teaches as an assistant in some regular college and university classes, and is in charge of short-term classes and talent training classes. Later, he also taught music at some drama stages, including the Hoang Thai Thanh Drama Stage.

Manh Duy is passionate about this job because he believes that singing is a necessary skill for professional actors. Learning to sing also helps him use his breath well when speaking, emphasize his voice, and convey emotions through his voice. He is dedicated to teaching and sharing his experience, so he has many students. His students are young actors and models who often express their love and respect for Manh Duy.

Not only working, in daily life, Manh Duy also loves watching plays. He idolizes Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, watching every play of his from Idecaf Drama Theater to Thien Dang Art Theater. The male artist is often invited to be a judge in singing competitions, especially student competitions.

Manh Duy was single, his life revolved around his parents and friends. He was passionate about traveling, exploring nature and enjoying delicious food. The sudden passing of Nguyen Phan Manh Duy at the age of 36 left his relatives, friends and colleagues in mourning.

On his personal page, Nguyen Phan Manh Duy posted his last post announcing his hospitalization on October 18, which received attention from relatives and friends. Before that, he had a fever for 5 days, and only went to the hospital when his condition became serious. However, the singer remained optimistic, responding to each comment. The responses became shorter and shorter, stopping on October 20.
