Gill was born on January 2, 1999 in Hanoi, is a young rapper, singer and music producer but has quickly affirmed his position in the Vietnamese hip-hop community.

From a young age, Gill showed a passion for rap. According to him, around the 2nd and 3rd grade, his brother gave him an MP3 player with many early Vietnamese rap songs pre-installed - "the first Vietnamese rap songs that fascinated the male rapper" .

The inspiration from that prompted him to learn more about domestic and international rap, and by grade 11 (around grade 12 according to another source), he officially wrote his first rap song, using all his savings to go to the studio to record - that was the instinctive start of his musical path.

Once caused regret in Rap Viet season 1

Gill joined the rap group Oceanboys (later renamed Ocean Mob) around 2016. But the real turning point came when he decided to join the show Rap Viet. In the first season (2020), Gill made a strong impression right from the casting round - being one of the only two contestants to achieve a perfect score and was dubbed the "top scorer".

He belongs to coach Karik 's team and continues to make his mark through performances that are considered professional with good technique and clear inner strength.

In 2022, Gill released the MV U la troi, combining drill and trap styles, imbued with Vietnamese culture with images of ao dai and turban, tuong stage, to tom board... This creativity marks an artistic direction imbued with national identity, with careful investment in ideas and images, although the crew had to film in 1 day in the studio due to the complicated epidemic situation.

At the end of 2022, he continued to release his debut EP called In Love Lately, with a gentle love theme and catchy music, but it still did not make Gill a "superstar" - according to him, what was lacking was personal strength and a clearer musical personality.

After a period of refinement, in 2024, Gill returned strongly with his second studio EP called On the Street, consisting of 5 songs with a single leading the way. This EP marked a milestone of maturity - refined music, strong image, distinct "club banger" personality.

The EP is built with a style that combines genres such as Trap, Drill, Jersey Club, connecting with Hanoi life through familiar places such as pawnshops, lottery stalls, racing, Temple of Literature, Shark's Jaw, like a true Hanoi "street boy" telling stories through music.

MV Thich choi hong (released on June 26, 2024) became an impressive opening, helping listeners feel his new style and musical taste. After that, MV Full House combined with Wxrdie - a young and potential rapper - and producer Machiot invested with action images inspired by Blade and Terminator, meticulous VFX techniques, affirming Gill's solid visual vision.

The visual, musical, and narrative shifts evident in the EP "On the Street" show a mature Gill who knows how to subtly exploit street energy.

Rap Viet Journey Season 4

Gill decided to return to the Rap Viet journey season 4 (2024), performing with a different mindset: calmer, more confident. In the first season of Rap Viet, Gill appeared with a scholarly image and a cute, rustic rap style. Becoming the "warhorse" of Karik's team, the handsome Gen Z guy is loved for his performances of Vi Toi Con Song, Sweep Sach Het,... In particular, the extremely "depressed" love rap O Lai Day (ft.
