Accordingly, the Department of Information and Technology of Binh Thuan province instructed Mr. T to comply with the Government's Decree 96/2009 on handling buried and sunken assets discovered or found in the mainland, islands and waters of Vietnam.

Mr. H.P.T. shall be responsible for the information announced; make plans for exploration, excavation and salvage and after approval are allowed to proceed.

Mr. T said that for many years he has pursued and now only he knows the exact coordinates and location of the "treasure" of 3 tons of gold in the Ca Ty River.

"After I get permission to excavate and get permission from the authorities, then I can inform the press," T said.

Previously, Mr. H.P.T had just sent an application to the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province and the provincial Department of Information and Technology to exploit precious objects. According to Mr. T, if allowed, the estimated time to exploit the "treasure" will be from May 1 to May 10, 2024 or from February 10, 2025 to February 20, 2025 and Mr. T will coordinate with three construction companies as partners to exploit it.

For safety measures in exploiting "treasures", Mr. H.P.T proposed to appoint 10 police officers to protect safety during the exploitation period and financial officers to inventory assets after exploitation to bring assets to the state treasury of Binh Thuan province.

Mr. T also requested that 2 officers with experience in handling explosives be sent to handle if explosives were detected and all expenses were borne by Mr. T.

"I would like to commit that if allowed, I will deposit an environmental remediation deposit at the state treasury of Binh Thuan province, the amount of VND 500 million, and ask to receive it back after handing over the site as it was.

The exploited assets I would like to receive 30% of the total assets obtained, the remaining 70% I would like to hand over to the state treasury of Binh Thuan province for the leaders to handle", Mr. T stated.

Mr. T's application to exploit the "treasure" under the Ca Ty River reminded many people in Binh Thuan that more than 30 years ago there was also a "treasure" along the Ca Ty River, located on Trung Trac Street, Duc Nghia Ward, Phan Thiet City today.
