The man in Tra Vinh borrowed m.oney from a friend to buy l.ottery tickets to help the old woman sell frogs, which was eventually rewarded with 4 billion VND. The story after posting on social media has attracted the attention of many netizen.
The main character in the above story is Mr. T. (about 50 years old), living in Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province. Accordingly, the man bought two l.ottery tickets with a series of numbers from the Dong Thap Provincial L.ottery Company and luckily won the jackpot.
Trivia claims that the old lady selling l.ottery tickets passing by begged T. to buy the last 2 sheets to go home early. Although he did not have m.oney i.n his pocket, but because he felt sorry for the l.ottery ticket seller, he borrowed it from friends to buy support for her.
As a result, the man received the prize m.oney of 2 jackpots up to 4 billion VND. Many people believe that thanks to his kindness, Mr. T. can enjoy a warm Tet with his family. Surely, the friend who lent him m.oney to buy l.ottery tickets will also be given a large amount.
Underneath the post, netizens enthusiastically "begged" for the poor man's begging. At the same time, he expressed hope that Mr. T. could use the amount of VND 4 billion reasonably.
- If anyone begs to buy a l.ottery ticket in the future, I will buy it all.
- Congratulations, kindness deserves to be reciprocated.
- This Tet he will have a warm Tet.
- May I be as lucky as you are.
- It must be that the friend who lent the m.oney is also trying to see what land is suitable to buy.
- Everybody around me except me.
Mr. Tran Viet Hoa (owner of the gold shop also in Duyen Hai town) confirmed on Vietnamnet newspaper that he had completed the exchange of nearly VND 4 billion for Mr. T. It is known that an acquaintance introduced T. to Mr. Hoa's gold shop and said that he could exchange the w.inning m.oney here.
The man and his wife then contacted the owner of the gold shop to redeem the bounty. In the afternoon of January 30, Mr. Hoa went to the house of the lucky couple. This person said that Mr. T. and his wife were poor, quite timid and shy. That day, T.'s relatives arrived in large numbers.
However, Mr. Hoa did not listen to Mr. T. tell the story of borrowing 20,000 VND to buy l.ottery tickets to support him. The owner of the gold shop Tra Vinh only heard that the poor man fasted and bought 2 l.ottery tickets for luck.
"I just heard that the poor house, Mr. T. fasted and drank, bought 2 l.ottery tickets for luck. Unexpectedly, good fortune came to his family. Many social networking sites post untrue information. They even rumored that I won, not Mr. T.," Hoa shared.
The owner of the gold shop added that he currently only runs a gold shop and redeems w.inning lottery tickets, not a l.ottery ticket agent. Contacting Mr. T., the man confirmed w.inning the jackpot but did not want to share more on the sidelines.
That said, it is impossible to completely trust social media posts, because not all sites carefully censor information before posting. In addition, the spread of misinformation also has a significant impact on insiders and those involved.
There have been many cases of trouble when websites publish false information about themselves. Therefore, users need to be more alert in receiving information, as well as selective information that is rampant in cyberspace.
"I thought the man was rewarded for his kindness", "I know it is not entirely out of compassion, but at least thanks to this man the old lady was able to leave early", "It is impossible to believe all the online posts, lest you be fooled all the time", ... are the comments left by netizen.
The old man selling l.ottery tickets won the jackpot, a few months later he returned to his hometown to raise ducks because he was "out of pocket".
