Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was born in 1969, the youngest son of Major General Hoang Dan and National Assembly member Nguyen Thi An Vinh. Before his death, he held many important positions at FPT , including former Chairman of FPT Software, FPT Telecom and FPT Corporation. In addition, he is taking on the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University, in charge of postgraduate training activities.

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien joined FPT in 1993, after graduating in Information Technology from the University of Science and Technology. With outstanding talent, he quickly held many key positions. At the age of 26, he was assigned to be the Head of Sales. By the age of 30, he had become the Head of Sales Department at FPT Corporation. After working for a while, he once made the bold decision to temporarily leave FPT to study abroad in the US.
