Buying gold on the day of the God of Fortune: The price increases rapidly every hour, 1 miss also participates

The Day of the God of Fortune (January 10 of the lunar calendar) is an important occasion for people who do business and trade. On this day, many people believe that buying gold will bring good luck and fortune for the whole year.

If a few days before the Day of the God of Fortune, gold shops in Hanoi simultaneously reported that gold rings were out of stock, many people had to go to 4-5 shops to buy a gold ring, then on the morning of February 7, the day of the God of Fortune, most of them opened for sale of gold rings again and there was no limit to the number of purchases.

At a gold shop on Cau Giay Street (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) on the morning of February 7 (the day of the God of Fortune) there was no longer a scene of running out of gold rings like a few days ago. This store even announced that it sells SJC gold bars. The store staff said that the store currently has a very small number of SJC gold bars from customers who have just sold.

At 6:30 a.m. at Bao Tin Minh Chau store, the selling price of plain round gold rings was at 89.55 million VND/volume. However, about 20 minutes later (i.e. 6:50 am), the selling price increased by 400,000 VND/ton, to 89.95 million VND.

By 9:22 a.m., the selling price of plain round gold rings at this store soared to more than 90.25 million VND/volume. The buying price also increased to 86.8 million VND/ton, an increase of 300,000 VND compared to the time of opening trading. Thus, compared to 6:30 am, the selling price of plain round gold rings at this store has increased by 700,000 VND/volume.

At Saigon Gold, Silver and Gems Company (SJC), the selling price of plain round gold rings at that time was 86.5-89.5 million VND/volume (buy - sell), while DOJI was 86.6-90.03 million VND/volume. The difference in buying and selling prices is up to more than 3 million VND/volume.

According to records, about 2/3 of the customers who come to buy gold on the morning of the God of Fortune choose to buy plain gold rings of type 1-5 only.

Mr. Giang (Cau Giay district, Hanoi) said that for 6-7 years, he has maintained the habit of buying gold on the day of the God of Fortune. "This year, I plan to buy 2 plain round gold rings, one for my children and the other to light the incense of the God of Fortune for good luck, hoping for a smooth business year," he said.

Like many people, recently, Miss Do My Linh posted a picture showin.g of.f the gold she bought to pray for luck and fortune for the whole year. Unlike other celebrities, Do My Linh took photos and only bought a modest gold thread (about 8-9 million VND) to "get a fortune".
