Natalya Kovalyova said Kateryna Bilyk won Miss Grand Ukraine 2024 because she proved herself to be excellent. "She was coached by Veronika Mikhailyshyn, who highly appreciated the MGI contest, and we invited the best designers to support her," Natalya Kovalyova wrote.

Natalya Kovalyova also said that when Kateryna fell ill during the Miss Grand International 2024 contest in Cambodia and Thailand, the Miss Grand Ukraine team supported her as much as possible.

Previously, in a letter on her personal page, Kateryna Bilyk said she was forced to participate in activities despite having a fever and high blood pressure. The beauty accused the Miss Grand organizers of giving her an unidentified pill that posed a risk of an allergic reaction.

The Miss Grand Ukraine organization affirmed: "We could not influence her behavior despite our best efforts. Her actions are a great disappointment and a heavy blow to us."

At the end of the letter, the Miss Grand Ukraine organizing committee apologized to Mr. Nawat, Ms. Teresa and the Miss Grand contest.
