On May 13, the Miss World Korea homepage posted an announcement that the Korean representative at Miss World 2025, beauty Min Jung, was injured and could not participate in this year's contest.

"I am Min Jung - Miss World Korea 2025. While volunteering at an event, I fell and injured my back. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience," the announcement read.
