MC Quynh Hoa: Originally from the Central region, grew up in the South but spoke with a Northern accent, used to be called "a fool"

As a familiar face on television as well as major events, Quynh Hoa made a mark in the audience's hearts by her confidence, grace and sweetness.

She is also a popular voice of the new version of the group Phu Sa. Times have changed, many ups and downs, changes... but during the past 25 years, Quynh Hoa's gentle, emotional image has appeared regularly on television.

Quynh Hoa revealed that when she was a child, she was very timid, shy, and did not dare to contact anyone. However, thanks to participating in activities at the Children's Cultural House, she has become bolder.

When she became a student of Foreign Trade University, she was on the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and participated in all cultural and artistic movements. The fate that brought her to the job of a program host was that in 1994, her class staged a program to compete in the city's art competition. Because she couldn't choose who to be the host of the program, Quynh Hoa eventually led herself.

Quynh Hoa did not expect that this "happy" time helped her catch the "blue eyes" of the judges, MC Huu Luan and musician Pham Dang Khuong. These two people discovered that she had a talent for hosting, so they invited her to collaborate with the Youth Culture House in the role of MC. And when I entered this job, I also thought that I would not follow it for the rest of my life.

Quynh Hoa said that she was lucky because before the TV presenter contest, there were only 3 female hosts in Ho Chi Minh City, Minh Huong, Quynh Huong and Quynh Hoa. These 3 faces keep "turning around" on television. And just like that, she automatically considered her leading job as a normal job.

Quynh Hoa also revealed an interesting story that her origin is not in the North but in the Central.

Her father is from Quang Nam, he moved to the North to marry her mother, a Hanoi girl. In 1976, her family moved to the South to settle down. Quynh Hoa went to school to speak with a southern accent, but since she started working as an MC, she has returned to speak with a northern accent because she feels more confident when hosting the show.

Being scolded by a friend for abandoning the path of foreign trade in the arts

Before coming to the job of host, Quynh Hoa used to work for 8 years at a shipping company. But because of her passion to stand on stage, she decided to give up her job to follow singing troupes and vaudeville as a presenter.

Quynh Hoa was scolded by friends because she studied hard for many years to hold a prestigious Foreign Trade University degree, but she eventually gave up to work as a presenter.

"A while ago, I attended the 20th anniversary of the establishment of my old company. My friends said that I was crazy, tried hard to study, then quit my job and switched to MC. But perhaps the blood of art is stronger than the blood of business. , I prefer the job of MC", Quynh Hoa recalled the bold decision in the past.

Although she is U50, she still hasn't changed much over time. Quynh Hoa also has a beautiful 22-year-old daughter named Van Anh. She revealed that her daughter also has "artistic blood" but is a bit different from her mother, that is, Van Anh has a talent for painting, preferring to play the piano and guitar rather than being an MC.

Currently, in addition to MC and singers in the group Phu Sa, Quynh Hoa is also a union officer. Previously, she held the position of Head of Culture and Art Department of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Culture House, specializing in organizing activities for the city's youth. Since the beginning of June 2019, Quynh Hoa has held the position of Deputy Director of the Youth Culture House in Ho Chi Minh City.

With the change in rank from Head of Department to Deputy Director, Quynh Hoa humorously admitted that she had to… go to meetings more. But when she holds a position in combination with MC and singer work, she has more conditions to connect with the entertainment industry to support the Youth Culture House. This place has organized many program activities that gather nearly 100 artists to attend such as "Love Bonding" or "Vietnam Theater Day". Before that, she was the one who called for artists to participate in the fight against the epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City for many months. The team of volunteer artists that she mobilized amounted to 130 people.

The Youth Cultural House was originally a place for young talents to come and Quynh Hoa herself grew up here. Today, with the competition of performance stages, cultural centers, television programs, and social networks, Quynh Hoa confesses that she is afraid of falling behind, so she constantly tries and trains herself.

In the past, I didn't listen to young music, but recently I have to ask my daughter for suggestions to refer to trends, singers, and emerging songs. Quynh Hoa wants to understand what today's generation is interested in to gain more knowledge in the profession.

Self-proclaimed imperfect mother

Behind the spotlight, Quynh Hoa confided that she is an "imperfect" wife and mother. Because she was too busy with outside work, she could not fulfill her responsibilities as a woman of the family.

While cleaning the room of her daughter who had just studied abroad, Quynh Hoa accidentally found and read the diary pages that her daughter left behind. Reading the passage that reads "I only want the sound of people in the house", Quynh Hoa couldn't hold back her emotions and burst into tears.

"The couple is engrossed in outside work, thinking that letting their daughter stay at home with everything she wants is enough, but it's not. This is something any parent should do. look back" - female MC choked.

Regarding the couple's life, Quynh Hoa said that the couple both have strong personalities. Because of the large ego, it is easy to lead to disputes in life.

However, later, whenever there was a conflict, Quynh Hoa and her husband tried to concede to each other. With her, sometimes there are things that you have to accept in life, can't ask for perfection but in return will receive something else.

In addition to career successes, what Quynh Hoa received the most in family life was sympathy. While she was busy with anti-epidemic work in Ho Chi Minh City with artists, her husband was the one to take care of her daughter.
