On the morning of February 13 (Vietnam time), Variety - an American magazine exclusively reported that Lisa ( BLACKPINK) will officially become a cast member in season 3 of the hit HBO series The White Lotus.

Lisa's Feb. 8 company LLOUD confirmed the news. Thus, unlike many speculations that Lisa will start with a solo album after founding the company, the youngest BLACKPINK sister will follow in Jennie's footsteps to debut as an actress in the hit American series.

In February, Lisa will shoot primarily in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand.

The White Lotus is an American satirical comedy-drama television series that critishes the privileges and hypocrisy of the super-rich, written and directed by Mike White. The film is set in the tropical resort of White Lotus, where each guest looks perfect but they are all trying to cover up the darkness behind their guise. The first two seasons received critical acclaim alike.

In The White Lotus, Lisa will join with her own real name – Lalisa Manobal. However, like all roles for the third season, her role was kept secret. The film is scheduled to begin production in Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand in February. Exact plot details are being kept under wraps except that the film will follow a new group of guests at the White Lotus resort.
