Linh Mieu: Quy Nhap Trang is inspired by the folk legend "ghost in the intestines" as the main theme throughout the film. In the 1960s, a family in Hue suddenly encountered a series of consecutive tragedies. Because the idea of gender inequality still existed at that time, My Kim (Thien An) signed a contract with the devil in the intestines, single-handedly opening the door to darkness covering her family in order to keep her eldest son. The relationship between the servant gir.l Phuong (Thuy Tien) and her mother-in-law Me Bich (Hong Dao) also became unusually close. This raised the suspicion that Phuong was plotting a deep-rooted plot to replace My Kim's position and escape her current lowly life.

Right from the trailer, it is not difficult for the audience to recognize the unique cultural features of Hue that are cleverly integrated, such as the art of ceramic mosaic - a unique culture of the Nguyen Dynasty.
