The second work in the horror film universe by producer - director Vo Thanh Hoa is Linh Luc: Quy Nhap Trang, which is receiving positive feedback at the box office.

Moviegoers were surprised by the beauty queen's sweet acting ability in Linh Mieu, but there were still mixed opinions. Some people thought that Thuy Tien was given the role to create media appeal for the work. On this occasion, director - producer Vo Thanh Hoa had an official share.

He shared: "I affirm that Thuy Tien acted in the film entirely because she was cast for the role and was chosen. As for the popularity of Tien or any other actor, it is their own story, supporting them to build their personal brand. For us, choosing actors is based on ability and suitability.

If the media is the deciding factor for a film's success, I think it's easy to do. In fact, the factor that attracts audiences to the cinema depends on whether the film has a good story, is good, and is passed on by word of mouth. One compliment from a good moviegoer is worth hundreds of media and advertising campaigns. No matter how much we do, it can't be as effective."

Regarding Thuy Tien's casting, the director told the media: "Not only Tien but all the actors playing Linh Mieu had to participate in all the audition rounds that were set. However, Thuy Tien is a famous person, so we made special arrangements regarding the location and time to suit her work schedule. As well as ensuring privacy and preserving Thuy Tien's image, I think that is what should be done. Saying that casting is just for show is absolutely not true."

When asked about her salary, Thanh Hoa honestly shared: "Thuy Tien is no longer a beauty queen. The role of beauty queen is only for one year. Tien shared with me: "People call me beauty queen but I've only been a beauty queen for one year." Currently, Thuy Tien has many different roles and wants everyone to recognize her versatility.

In Linh Mieu, Thuy Tien plays Phuong, a maid in a wealthy family in Hue in the 1960s. Despite being a newcomer to the film industry, Thuy Tien has scored strongly thanks to her ability to learn the Hue dialect fluently and perform naturally. Positive feedback from the audience in early screenings has proven her efforts and talent.

Linh Mieu is inspired by the folk legend of "ghost possession" and tells the tragedy of a family of ceramic mosaic makers in Hue in the 1960s. The story revolves around the mysterious deat.h of a grandchild who suddenly comes back to life, bringing terrible disasters to the family.

With her constant efforts and serious attitude towards work, Thuy Tien is proving that she is not only a beauty queen but also a true artist, ready to conquer new challenges on her career path.
