It was only when he transformed into a ecstas.y playing the role of Vo Tong in the movie "Southern Land", did Le Quang completely give up the pub, embarking on an acting career, but unexpectedly, luck did not smile at him. In order to become a brave and soulful Vo Tong in the film, Le Quang's feet bleed many times when he steps on broken bottles, thorns and mangrove stumps in the riverbed that are beveled by the people every time they are harvested.

"The mangrove tree was lying deep in the water and I couldn't dodge it. Every time I stepped on it, the pain ran backwards from my legs to my spine, it was so painfu.l that I still had to try to act," he recalled.

"Vo Tong" said acting is very cruel when actors have to sacrifice beauty and health under all weather conditions. For an actor who doesn't have the advantage of looks like him, the sacrifice is greater when not every role is suitable. Many times Le Quang ventured to take on the role of cascadeur for his own role to get more mone.y. Memories left are scars on the body.

However, the success of the role of Tu Vo Tong made Le Quang's career path turn sideways. Because he was too passionate about acting and neglected the restaurant, the business that the actor was attached to was missed and gradually closed. Deducting all travel and accommodation expenses, Le Quang earns from three to five million dong for a singing performance. His schedule is rarely empty so this is considered a stable source of income for him. However, what makes him both happy and worried is that every time he goes to sing, the show still has to borrow the reputation of "Vo Tong" to sell tickets.

"When I walked out onto the stage, introduced as actor Le Quang, no one knew. But when I said Vo Tong, the audience clapped their hands." Among the songs performed by the actor, "Song of the South" is always a work he performs regularly.

For many years now, Le Quang has refused most invitations to events in the entertainment industry. He only accepted lyrics for some close colleagues and toured to serve people in the West.
