Recently, businessman Kim Oanh participated in a strategic meeting to announce CT's new orientation when cooperating with major partners.
Information from Kim Oanh Group said that CT has just signed a successful cooperation agreement with a multidisciplinary international corporation from Japan with 332 years of development history.
According to the cooperation agreement, this group will pour capital with Kim Oanh Group to establish a joint venture company to deploy a real estate project in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The project has a scale of 118 townhouses and shophouses, expected to be announced to the market by the end of this year.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh - Chairman and General Director of Kim Oanh Group added that CT is planning to cooperate with two huge partners from Singapore and Thailand in June and July.
Ms. Oanh assessed that Kim Oanh Group is still quite young compared to leading multinational corporations such as Sumitomo Forestry. They are "giants" that have developed hundreds of years before Kim Oanh Group, they are ahead of Kim Oanh Group in terms of technology, in terms of infrastructure and outperformed Kim Oanh Group in terms of resources.

After that, he continued to be arrested for selling 100% of shares of Minh Thanh Company to Tan Hiep Phat. But when it was time to pay the debt and redeem the property, Tan Hiep Phat pretended to be genuine and did not return the property to Kim Oanh.
The Minh Thanh project was worth "a thousand billion", pledged a loan of 350 billion, paid Mr. M, Mrs. T 115 billion, paid interest to Tan Hiep Phat more than 90 billion, was "fine" by Tan Hiep Phat 35 billion, lost to "stork" " more than 17 billion... Only really holding 80 billion - the call for help of Mrs. Oanh at that time.
This is also the reason why CT Kim Oanh - Dong Nai filed a denunciation to the Ministry of Public Security. This is why the case was prosecuted in February 2021.
Recently, the decision to temporarily arrest Mr. Tran Qui Thanh and his daughter Tran Uyen Phuong on charges of abusing trust to appropriate property was signed by the Investigation Police Agency (C01, Ministry of Public Security) on April 8 and 10. . With the same crime, Mr. Thanh's second daughter, Tran Ngoc Bich - Deputy General Director of Tan Hiep Phat, cum Director of Number One Ha Nam was also prosecuted but was released on bail.
According to C01, the prosecution and temporary detention of 3 Mr. Thanh and his son are part of the process of handling applications of some people in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. These people denounced Mr. Thanh, Ms. Phuong, Ms. Bich and a number of individuals with acts of fraud to appropriate property, Abuse of trust to appropriate property, tax evasion and property appropriation. The acts identified by C01 are related to projects and real estate of particularly great value in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, in March 2021, C01 prosecuted the case of fraud to appropriate property, after receiving a denunciation from Mr. Le Van Lam - General Director of CT Kim Oanh Dong Nai (CT Kim Oanh), Mr. Nguyen Van Chung - Director of DCB and Lam Hoang Son.
According to the denunciation, Mr. Lam said that Mr. Thanh and Ms. Phuong and some related people had appropriated property through transferring projects and business shares. The signing between the two parties is a fake contract (the parties do it to hide another contract), essentially borrowing money. The behavior of the father and son of Mr. Thanh caused damage to Kim Oanh Dong Nai Co., an amount of more than 1,000 billion VND.
During the investigation, C01 sent a written request to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to direct the departments to maintain the legal status quo, suspend property fluctuations (purchase, sale, donation, mortgage of shares, right to use land...). C01 then continued to send a written request to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to direct the status quo of 33 land plots in Ms. Phuong's name in these localities.
However, by November 2022, C01 had temporarily suspended the investigation of the case due to the expiration of the time limit and the need to further clarify some contents related to the assessment. Therefore, the fact that C01 suddenly announced the decision to prosecute the case surprised the public.
Explaining the above decision, C01 said that the investigation process so far has enough grounds to determine that the behavior of Mr. Thanh and his two daughters has enough elements to constitute the crime of Abuse of trust to appropriate property.
