Khac Hung: The king of creating hits, a close junior who made My Tam break the rules and remind him of one thing

Nguyen Khac Hung is 30 years old, from Yen Bai. He is the author of many hit songs such as Sau tat ca (Erik), Anh nang cua anh (Duc Phuc), Nguoi hay quen em di (My Tam). In 2020, Khac Hung, Min and Erik "caused a fever" with the song Ghen Co Vy. The musician also won music awards at Cong Hien and Lan Song Xanh.

Singer Khac Viet's younger brother - Khac Hung, born in 1992, is a young producer and musician known to many people. Khac Viet himself is also the one who performs the works composed and arranged by Khac Hung.

The brothers Khac Viet and Khac Hung are very close. Singer Khac Viet once shared that 90% of his current career success is due to Khac Hung. In turn, Khac Viet is also the one who inspired and guided Khac Hung's first steps on the musical path.

2016 was a successful year for Khac Viet's younger brother. He founded the music production company AD Productions. From here, he produced soundtracks and composed songs for the movie Cho em den ngay mai. In addition, with the song "Sau tat ca", Khac Hung "won" six categories of the Lan song xanh, Zing Music Awards and Vpop 20 Awards.

Not only has Khac Hung successfully completed his duties as a musician and music producer, he has also tried his hand at being a coach. Together with two other talented producers, Do Hieu and Hoang Touliver, Khac Hung has created a powerful trio for the show "Starting the Dream".

Khac Hung was once a coach on The Voice Kids 2019. In 2020, his name exploded with the song Ghen co vy. The song was released right at the time of the covid-19 epidemic, carrying a message of safety to everyone and bringing unexpected success. Thanks to that, Khac Hung was mentioned by American and Japanese Billoard magazines as a leading musician in Vietnam.

In 2021, Khac Hung became the Master of The Heroes 2021 program. Along with that, he was the music director for My Tam's Tri Am Liveshow.

Not only is he a writer with extremely rich compositions that captivate audiences, throughout his career, Khac Hung has also encountered music scandals on several occasions.

However, in 2018, the male musician released two songs with misleading titles, Like the Oven and Like the Rumor, which caused the public to condemn him quite a bit.

Suffering for love and friendship

Recently, in the program "Storii Tellers" season 2, which was broadcast on the channel Storii Official. On the program, Khac Hung had the opportunity to open up about his career as well as his life.

Musician Khac Hung confided: "I think at my ag.e, I will be more involved in love. When I made the album Tam 9 for My Tam in 2017, all the songs in that album were drawn from my own experiences. My own experiences of pai.n, each story in it is what happened outside. I was hurt because I lost love and friends."

Khac Hung added: "I feel lucky because I recovered quite quickly. Actually, not very quickly. I think I freed myself in 2021, when I started to find meaning, what my next task was to do in life. Before, I was lost. I worked to fill my void.

Thinking back, I realized that the most bitter time also had its own value and sometimes I have to thank that pai.n for creating the person I am today."

He added: "Now that my parents are old, I have to be more responsible and take care of my family more. My brother has a grandchild, so I take care of him more. I have employees and have to take care of them. If something like that happens now and I collapse, the others won't know who to turn to, so luckily it happened early."

Once disciplined by My Tam

Khac Hung said he loved singing since he was a chil.d but had a knack for composing first. Over the past 10 years, he has been behind the success of many singers. However, in recent years, his desire to sing has resurfaced, he loves the feeling of standing on stage, with the audience cheering and singing along.

Khac Hung chose to sing instinctively instead of taking vocal lessons, and at the same time did not want to lose his emotions - which he said was the most important thing for a singer. After a period of practice, he admitted that his singing became less harsh.

The musician chose to work with a relaxed mindset, without financial pressure. "I don't force myself or force the audience to call Khac Hung a singer right away, nor am I afraid of being criticized. If you say I sing because I'm thirsty or chasing fame, I think with my ability, I could have done that a long time ago," Khac Hung said. However, he is still self-conscious about his appearance.

At a music product launch event 2 years ago, Khac Hung was reminded by My Tam about this issue.

The female singer clearly said: "Hung, you are very handsome and you must know that. Don't just think that because of 1-2 comments that the whole world thinks you are not beautiful, you shouldn't be like that. You have to believe in the applause that has been given to you, people don't judge you by your appearance, just be yourself, you don't need to do your hair beautifully, I like your old hair, you keep admitting that you are bald and all, I find it really unreasonable, unacceptable. You can't be so self-conscious. You are very handsome, you are the most versatile artist I know."

"Actually, Hung is a bit lacking in confidence and self-esteem because he has been in the dark for too long, in the studio, so he has not been able to open his heart and does not know what people think and say about him. It is also possible that just because of a comment on social media, Hung will think that the whole world thinks he is not beautiful, but Hung should not be like that. Furthermore, Hung must believe in the applause of everyone here, they do not only look at his appearance but people also evaluate Hung's music.

I don't have much advice because Hung knows what he needs to do and what he is doing. I also support Hung to live with his passion. But in order for the audience to accept him more, he should just be himself, Hung is who he is. I don't want him to change too much, just be the Khac Hung that the audience already knows," My Tam added.
