Jisoo reminisces about 7 years with BlackPink: Feeling the weight of responsibility

While the Blackpink group is facing whether they will survive or not, Jisoo recently shared about the 7-year journey with other girls when accompanying each other in their youth.

After my debut, when I started taking on my part, I felt very successful ."

She added: " Now, in my 7th year, when I perform, I feel the weight of responsibility. As BlackPink has matured, the audience's expectations for us are also growing, so I feel the need to meet those expectations. "

Regarding BlackPink's two world tours, she said, " I'm happy to see my fans again after a long time. In addition, the bond between BlackPink members has also become stronger. When we were in Korea, we each had our own schedules and were all busy. However, when the four of us were together overseas, we naturally spent a lot of time as a group, so our memories there are the happiest.

Reflecting on his debut solo album 'ME' released this year, Jisoo said, "I wanted to perform solo for fans on tour, so I started preparing in mid-2022 and it was finally released earlier this year. On the question of how Blackpink hopes to change the world's perception of K-pop and the K-pop industry, Jisoo said, " The world today seems to have changed a lot and not just because of Blackpink. We feel the changing state of K-content through our world tours. "
