The script also appealed to Jennie: "There's the idea of a bad guy appearing and trying to manipulate, I've lived in that world all my life."

Jennie also expressed that she was experiencing physical and mental difficulties, after many years of constantly performing and participating in events, losing her privacy: "I thought I couldn't take it anymore". When talking about her free time, the female idol confessed: "I rarely see my friends because I'm constantly working or too tired. So when I have free time, being 28-year-old Jennie is the best thing I can wish for".

BLACKPINK member also confided that her true self is very different from her public image. When asked about how to adjust between these two extremes, Jennie said: "I always wonder that too. What's wrong with me? I spent 6 years as a trainee. During that time, I was too focused on becoming a performer. I didn't really understand what it meant to be an artist."

In the first 3 episodes, Jennie caused a lot of controversy because of her offensive choreography, "cool" outfits, and some meaningless lines. In episode 4, she received good reviews for her acting from the audience. In the last episode, she only appeared for a little over a minute.

Korean and world media believe that Jennie's presence in the film is only to attract viewers, and the character she plays has almost no impact on the plot.
