Hua Vi Van was born on December 25, 1979, is a Vietnamese male model, singer and actor. He started his career at the age of 16 as a model, then was a member of the group GMC in the early 2000s.
Currently, Vi Van operates mainly in the field of TV series and movies. Continuously appearing in movies with a turnover of hundreds of billions, many people nicknamed Hua Vi Van "hundred billion handsome".
Was hated for the name "Hua Vi Van"
Although known to the audience for her roles on the screen, few people know that the chance for Hua Vi Van to come to art is the role of a model. After participating in an elegant contest of the school, Hua Vi Van went to work as a model, take pictures, act in advertisements... to earn money to cover tuition fees.
In 2002, Hua Vi Van attended an actor audition. He revealed that at that time, people had a negative view of the model going to film. The actor shared: "My career is more difficult and difficult than my colleagues. It took me more than 20 years to begin to be loved by the audience. At first, when I was a young actor, I received a lot of things. criticisms such as bad actors, bad movies, disaster movies, etc. Sometimes I despair and fall because 20 years is a long time, how can I not have negative emotions. bitter and sad.
But later on, I thought, I had to stumble, fail and receive a lot of criticism from the audience to have the opportunity to learn and change myself. I have to have bad things to learn good things, but I can't be good right away. I try to let the audience see my change. When I have projects that are loved by the audience, I feel relieved.
After 10 years of acting in dramas and learning many valuable experiences, I decided to switch to the film industry. This turning point helped me open up a different series of days, more responsible for the audience. When I was involved in cinema, I realized that it is very difficult to make projects that are loved by the audience. My mother at home also wants to see me on TV, but right now, I'm focusing on movies, so it's hard for me to return to acting like before. I was forced to limit my appearances on television and game shows so that the audience could see my sacrifice and investment in cinema. However, if the TV series has good investment projects in the future, the budget is good and the script is good, I will definitely participate.
Referring to appearance, Hua Vi Van admits that good-looking appearance is one of her advantages. However, in order to go on a long artistic path, he himself needs to try and make a lot of effort. Hua Vi Van shared: "Appearance will fade over time. If we do not cultivate other aspects, it is difficult to go a long way. For an actor, appearance is only temporary and depends on each stage. different".
Talking about the title of marshal, Hua Vi Van frankly: "I am very grateful to the audience for giving me the title of marshal. But actually, I want people to understand me better, like me more in other aspects as well. Not only about appearance, but also what's on the inside."
He further shared the reason why he doesn't like being called "marshal": "Because I'm an actor, that title will narrow my career. I also don't want people to look at me just because of my looks. For example, when I play a bad role or an old role, the audience still assumes that I have a good image and doesn't like me playing other roles. I don't like that."
The actor surnamed Hua identifies himself as an inquisitive person. That prompted him to go to the US to hone his professional knowledge. The acquisition from the foreign working environment helps the actor change his view of the profession. Also for pursuing that ideal, Hua Vi Van limited his participation in dramas and game shows, but spent time researching acting and film production projects.
Hua Vi Van has a pretty special name. Many people think this is just his stage name, but in fact this is the actor's real name. He shared: "In the early days of artistic activities, people also judged that this name was Korean or Hong Kong, something like China? At that time, there were people who did not like my name, they think I took this name to make it easy to become famous. Until now, many people don't know that it's my real name, not my stage name. beautiful soul. My family is of Chinese origin".
Hua Vi Van admits, sometimes he also feels pressured because of his name and ... hates that name. He also revealed that he is a person who does not like crowds, does not like to attend events and red carpets. He prefers working on set.
Still single at 42
Sharing about family, Hua Vi Van said: "I rarely talk about my family, so people still think family life is peaceful but in reality it is very sad. The first day I entered the profession, my brother died because of my family life. Some time later, my father died of cancer and recently, my younger brother also died from this serious disease. Currently, my mother is bedridden and needs someone to take care of her.
I have experienced many losses in my life, but I personally want to not share it with anyone. I think that only work can relieve me of that pain. Over the past 20 years, I have witnessed the passing of loved ones one by one. Perhaps few viewers know this, so they often wonder why I'm always alone. After going through a lot of pain, I gradually realized that the most difficult thing and also the thing that I fear the most, is separation."
As one of the most successful actors of Vietnamese cinema, Hua Vi Van is always present with an elegant demeanor, a bright smile, but somewhere still hides private contemplations. Film activities are full of excitement, but the actor is very secretive about his private life. His love story is always something that makes many people curious.
In an interview, Hua Vi Van explained the reason why he is still single despite his age. He thinks that he is still a workaholic and is comfortable with his current life. He said: "I'm single, I have a lot of time to work and contribute to my career." Hua Vi Van also said that his family did not force him to get married. He confided: "When I was 12 years old, I went camping for a few days before I came back. When I got home, my mother didn't scold, just asked: Are you happy going out? Mom saw me happy, I was happy. I saw many people. If I have a family around 7 o'clock, I have to go home to feed my children, put them to sleep at 9 o'clock, while in that time I can do a lot of things. I'm lonely but not alone. I have many close friends.. ".
