Hong Dao countered rumors of remarriage at the age of 63, declaring that he is still single, has no husband and children, no one to pursue, lives happily with his children and parents, ignoring the rumors that surround him.
Recently, in a conversation on the YouTube channel Meow Entertainment, artist Hong Dao shared emotionally and honestly about her current life, relationship with her two daughters as well as her views on conflicting opinions in her acting career.
Hong Dao said that although her artistic work has its ups and downs and hardships, what makes her happiest is the understanding and support of her children. When taking on a psychologically heavy role in the movie "Take my mother away", the two daughters not only sympathized but also encouraged their mother wholeheartedly.
She confided: "My children know I love my job. When I have a good role and have fun with my work, my children are also happy. Although I love my mother hard, I always encourage her because I see her living with passion."
Despite the differences between the two generations, especially since she has lived abroad for many years and has access to Western culture, Hong Dao believes that the most important thing is understanding and listening. "I don't expect my children to be completely in tune with me, because youth always has their own perspective. But I teach him to be analytical, to be critical â and if he's right, I'm willing to listen."
Artist Hong Dao's view of educating children also attracted attention when she shared encouraging children to have their own voice in the family. Different from the traditional education that values silence and absolute obedience, Hong Dao chooses to accompany and empower her children to express their thoughts. "I don't force my children to always obey me. I accept and respect criticism, because I believe that adults are not always right. It's good for children to have their own opinions."
In the face of recent rumors about artist Hong Dao remarrying and having followers, she has completely corrected this information. According to her, it was just a joke with MC Nguyen Khang in the previous conversation.
She confided: "There is no case of me getting married to a new husband. Currently, I am still living alone, with my two children and my parents. Being single makes me feel light, free, and happy."
Hong Dao admitted that, at this age, she is no longer too concerned about love. Instead, the female artist chooses joy from work, family and her own values in life. "No one is flirting at all, I'm still single and happy with that," she affirmed.
Not only talking about his personal life, Hong Dao also opened up about the audience's reaction to his new role. As a long-time artist, she understands that working in the profession will always be accompanied by praise and criticism. However, instead of avoiding or reacting negatively, the actress chose to accept it openly: "There are criticisms that startle me, wondering why people judge me that way. But I'm not sad. I see it as a motivation to reflect on myself, adjust and improve more."
Hong Dao expressed that the feedback from the audience, whether positive or negative, is valuable if viewed correctly. It is important for the artist to maintain his passion and be willing to change for long-term development in the profession. Despite going through many ups and downs in his career, Hong Dao is still one of the veteran faces loved by the audience. Her enthusiasm for the profession and her attitude to all suggestions are what have helped her maintain a sustainable performance over the years.
Sharing about the journey ahead, Hong Dao said that she had never thought of stopping: "I still love the profession, I still want to do roles with depth. As long as I am healthy, I will continue to contribute to art."
Through the sincere sharing in the conversation, Hong Dao showed the image of a modern woman â brave, independent and full of love. Although she is a veteran artist, she still retains her youthfulness in thinking, always opening her heart to her children, the audience and herself.
