Hong Dang: From being "banned" from the airwaves, to the owner of a billion-dollar fortune!

Hong Dang was once a symbol of the "handsome guy" of Vietnamese cinema, associated with captivating TV series. It seemed that his career would continue to flourish, but an unexpected personal incident in 2022 created a major turning point.

The journey of the "male god" of Vietnamese cinema and his dramatic transformation:

Le Hong Dang, commonly known by his stage name Hong Dang, and sometimes affectionately called Huy Dang by fans, is one of the most veteran and beloved actors of Vietnamese television dramas. He was born on October 6, 1984 in Hanoi, in an ordinary Kinh family with no artistic tradition.

Hong Dang's personal life is as fulfilling as his career. He married his wife Nguyen Anh Dao in 2008, and now, after more than a decade together, Hong Dang and his wife have two lovely and talented daughters.

Hong Dang is not a "hereditary" artist. Before becoming famous, he studied business, even owned a phone store and had a great passion for large-displacement motorcycles.

He is not only successful with the role of a romantic "heartthrob" but can also excellently transform into psychologically complex main roles, from cold and brave to weak, cowardly or gentle.

Hong Dang's acting career is a journey full of effort, from supporting roles to the position of a star loved by millions of viewers. Initially, he started his career with small supporting roles in TV series in the early 2000s such as "Noi the co non", "Nhat ky Vang Anh"... Despite his bright appearance, his name was still quite obscure at that time. The big turning point came in 2011 with the role of Minh Khang in "Cau vong tinh yeu", making Hong Dang's name shine and creating the golden screen couple "song Hong" with Hong Diem.
